I never would have purchased a boat this expensive on my own. I have a partner on it. I guess it's pretty common to partner on boats (just like airplanes).

High Plains Drifter 07-11-2006 07:51 PM

Nice boat!

Doctor Dre 07-11-2006 07:51 PM

Looks nice ;) We are riding a 25"5 bayliner this year ;)

MaddCaz 07-11-2006 07:53 PM

Sosa 07-11-2006 07:55 PM

fucking boats are expensive

sharp 07-11-2006 07:57 PM

I don't know why you have to include the price. Sounds kind of shallow to me. However, NICE FUCKING BOAT MAN!! Props to you!

soulbleed 07-11-2006 07:58 PM

sweet boat

Donny 07-11-2006 07:58 PM

Some details:

* It's powered by a Power Vortec Cadillac LQ9 High Output 6.0L multi-port EFI V-8 engine (385 hp).

* It's the boat used in the XGames for pulling wakeboarders.

* I don't know how to wakeboard and therefore am the designated driver.

* It has 3 ballast tanks to add more weight to create a bigger wake.

* Everyone that sees it compliments it.

* People in other boats near the launch are often overheard telling the passengers in their own boat how awesome the XStar is and pointing.

* Holds 53 gallons of fuel and sucks it up like crazy (damn, I've been spending a lot of time at the pump)

* Seats 12.

* Models love it.

...there's more...

Because someone would ask.

I don't understand why sponsors post about how much they pay per join, either. They should just let their sites speak for themselves.

E$_manager 07-11-2006 08:11 PM

You forgot that the price includes the trailer (which is top of the line and very expensive) as well as all taxes and fees (California sucks sometimes). Also included is the $5k or so that had to be added to dig out the trade (upside down on 2 Jet Skis that had been purchased only 4 weeks earlier with no money down).

E$_manager 07-11-2006 08:17 PM

that would be a great summer for you. Enjoy!

Not worth the cost. Could have gotten something much bigger for that.

AsianDivaGirlsWebDude 07-11-2006 08:56 PM

List price on the XStar is $68k, and you paid $91k. Damn, I'm going into the boat trailer business...

I'm sure it's a nice ride, and if you're happy with what you paid for it, then it's all good.

No offense, but please learn to read.

List price doesn't include a trailer. Nor does it include taxes and fees. The price I posted includes all of those things, which you would have known had you read the thread.

Aced my SAT on critical reading and writing...and I read and understood all of your post, hence my joke about going into the trailer biz.

I save a bundle on trailer costs by strapping my rig to my Caddie:
