I am not even sure if I am one as all I do is sell porn. I was out with a very nice girl who at the end of the night wanted to know if I starred in porn as my friends had said, "He works in the porn industry."

i know man. i had to recently tell all my friends, that know what i do, that i quit selling porn and now just design websites so they can't go around telling people what i do. once people hear you work in porn, you're automatically a slimebag.

I just had the same idea. i think I will now say we quit doing it. We only do mainstream.

I've told a few people I no longer have any involvement with porn. Hasn't caused any problems yet so I figured I'd nip it in the ass.

People link child porn to the mention of adult porn cause the media do it so much.

Make a mainstream blog that sells nothing and does nothing and then tell people that is what you do and watch them create similar blogs wondering why they can't make $20K a month doing it....

When I tell people that I'm involved in porn they're either fascinated and start asking me questions or they're like 'not my thing, but hey, no problem!'. I haven't yet encountered anyone with a negative reaction to what I do.

I gave up pretending that I did something else because I figured that if someone has an issue with what I do it's their issue, not mine.

I've only ever had interested repsonses when people find out I'm involved with the adult industry.

Dude your missing the upside of this problem. Look, if your going out with a chick from the "modest" world and things are going the way you like. You can always tell her what you do for a living and not have to worry about her stalking you. On the other hand, if she likes what she finds out, you may unlease the freak from within, and enjoy it for 30 more days. Or until you can find another way to get rid of her.

I have the mainstream side of it going. And it is going well so I am going to just go through any contact i told about this side of it and say it is gone. I had started working a while ago to make it smaller for this very reason.

just make it clear that you just make the porn sites, all you do is type code all day. when you tell people the details of what you do, it sounds boring fast. works for me.

I just tell people I either do sales and marketing for online sites, or that I'm a web developer/designer and everyone assumes right away "for what kind of sites? Porn sites??" and I say various different ones. If they ask persistently I tell them I work for Naughty America and tell the rest of the truth about what I do, but only if they are persistent, otherwise the people don't really care about what you do they are just trying to make conversation so no point in scaring them away in the begining hehe.
