Which is the better domain for a paysite?
 

Okay,

We are about to launch a few new sites... one of which is a teen movie site... which do you think would be the better domain:

VirginPorn.tv or JustLegal.tv?

We have the site ready to go, we just need to alter the tour to include the domain.

Any input would be a big help!

It seems pretty hard to find a good half decent teen domain at the moment, they are all either taken, or so dodgy that the processors won't accept them.

I do own a lot more domains, but a lot of them have have hyphens in them, which I don't like using for paysites...

I could go with a .com, but as I have said in another post, I am finding it hard to find a decent available .com domain that does no have hyphens or numbers...

For some reason, I like .tv... not really sure why, suppose it is easy for people to remember etc... (I have big plans for sadism.tv).

VirginPorn... and make sure you launch it as soon as possible... I'll promote it... I've got the right traffic for it :thumbsup

I don't really see why virginporn would be a problem, as virgin does not really indicate underaged content (same goes for schoolgirls.com etc)... However, I do realise that Visa/MC are pretty touchy at the moment, so you may have a valid point.

Adding the word Porn does indicated that there is sexual activity, which kind of cancels out the virgin part of the name...

In any case, I prefer JustLegal too... But I want other peoples opinions before I spend time altering the design.

Yeah, I know - I have purchased a lot of great domains from people who got them before I could... I have over 5,500 domains registed at the moment, but all of the really good ones I have paid over the odds for.

yeah, the VirginPorn.com domain gets about 2000 unique type-ins a month right now. pure organic traffic.

I'd love it if you launched with both designs, and I'll just point my domains right to your virginporn site. what's your payout? still 60%? will you be offering PPS as well? (I don't mind revshare.)

Affiliates that send a lot of traffic still get 60%, hit me up and I will make sure you get it... We don't plan to offer PPS under bizarredollars... just revshare.. we will open a second program in about 1 years time, which will be nats based and will offer both pps and revshare.

I'm already getting over 2,000 type-ins a month. not much to some people, but it's growing exponentially each month.

maybe i should just launch something myself... in the meantime... even a fake tgp is better than the standard adult domain ppc landing pages. he can either buy it outright or save his money & pour that $ into more content/plugins for the site. As long as he launches the two versions of the site, I'll point my domain type-ins to one of them. Win-win either way.
