i have no idea about the people who work there, but i prefer the xbiz magazine.

both have there strengths and weaknesses...

XBIZ does alot more for the webmasters than AVN would ever care. AVN could give a shit for us:2 cents:

But quickly gets buried by hundreds of threads of no importance. hehe

avn is/was a monopoly in this biz for quite a while.
They did a great job.
They made a lot of money.
Xbiz is trying to get a piece of it and they will, however as much as they like money they don't like to spend it. In business you have to spend money to make money especially in visual content.
I do believe that in the paper editions that xbiz is a newspaper type, I have never seen it but trust me nobody keeps a newspaper, people keep magazines it is the most effective advertising.
Online it is the same the difference it is just building a brand. I read both online.
