A VERY productive young lady if I do say so myself.
 

She graduated from high school in June, 2000.

She graduated from UC Davis in June 2003 with a BA in Human Development.

She took a year off to work with autistic kids.

Next Friday she graduates from UCLA with a Masters in Social Welfare.

To say I was proud of the accomplishments of my daughter would be a great understatement.

Well done mate - sons are great but daughters are special.

You hold them in your arms when they're helpless babies and you want to protect them from the world.

They grow into teenagers that make you want to tear your hair out and drive you to hard liquor.

And then they grow further into fine young women that make you so proud when they go out and conquer the world all by themselves :thumbsup

Actually, I lucked out with both my kids in that regard. Never a reason to worry with either of them.

And I'm sure that you supported her down the road. So you're actually part of her success. With good supporting parents it's much easier for kids to pursue their own goals.

Does she already has any future plans?

Since she received a stipend as an intern while going for her Masters she has an obligation to work for LA County for two years, which is cool as she still has to work on a couple licenses.

Then I am going to fund her starting her own practice working with autistic kids. She really enjoys that work.

Wait tells he has to deal with the school systems and autistic children. No school will ever say " yes this child is autistic... " .. each kid is a little different in the forms of autisim... we have one that is the freakin poster child of austisim but the school does not want to provide the proper facilities for this child so they got there psych reports to say he wasnt autistic..

now state lawyers are invovled n crap
