kinda drunk right now - damn females. 3 months, and it still blows.

actually, i'm very happy for the most part. still sux from time to time though. too many years together :)

Took me two years to get over losing my first wife, two minutes for the second.

Now on the third and am not losing her.

It took me like 3 years to get over one girl. I had casual sex during that time, but I didn't think I would ever "fall in love" again.

I haven't been between relationships for a loooong time. Let's break this down. I'm currently 28 and have been with my "now wife" for 12 years, before her, I was with a girl for close to 3 years, but I left her for the girl I married, so that puts me back to the age of 13 when I was single last, even back then, I had a relationship with a girl for about 6 months straight, but I did have a couple of smaller gaps then, but heck, I was pretty young, he he he.

I've been between relationships for a number of years. Been single too long to enter into another one probably. I'm 52 now, so I would imagine that I'll be between relationships til I'm in that great webmaster forum in the sky.. or.. the other direction.. :)

This is one thing that helped me -- you need to sort of create a mental list of all of the great things about YOU -- most of the shit on your list you already knew but you took it for granted and never really made a point of noticing your good qualities -- you are probably an awesome fucking person so give yourself some fucking credit and you will feel a lot better... After I broke up w/ my girlfriend I would have the bad habit of talking about the breakup and her all of the time -- if you meet a new girl don't say ANYTHING about how you just broke up X months ago, yadda yadda -- they will avoid you like the plague...

You don't need a woman to be happy -- that's the best way to deal with women ;)

girlfriend of about 5 years. kinda like fly says, i talk about her too much. a big problem is that i've always met my girlfriends in university, including my last one, which was also the about the time i left uni. intelligence is the biggest turn on for me (not saying you can't meet girls who are intelligent elsewhere), but the girls i've been meeting lately are not all that cerebral :)
