Actually Dan Brown has said it was based on fact, well heavily suggested it was based on facts.

Only a fool can really believe that 1200 years after Christ walked around Palestine the Crusaders turned up and found evidence of his blood line. The Muslims who always regarded Christ as a prophet had no such evidence. Except for the religious artifacts they were so keen on selling to the Crusaders. And people are still selling the myth today.

Plus Christ lived as a normal man for 30 years. He would of been married at 16, 14 years to have a family. Was he married and a father? 99.9% most definitely. Who knows what happened to his family.

What we have to remember is for over the last 1950 years we have been fed information about Christ by people with something to sell. Whether it's money in the collection box our saving our immortal souls they were selling us something.

Trey is was a fairly good film that needed some concentration to follow.

The book was FICTION, just like the Bible. So what. I guess Christians should get all pissy about the Omen too. Was there all this controversy when Demi Moore made that 7th sign movie? Funny how those Left Behind movies are ok with Christians even though they are very very loosely based on the Bible. Science proves that it is next to impossible for the world to form the way it is so their for their has to be a god now if jesus was a messenger of god then the davinci code still proves nothing but still a good movie so I guess it's possible that their are living decendants of jesus. This might sound like hog wash but for some reason I beleave their are decendants of jesus in europe and they and alot of other rich family with old wealth and secrets run the world today.

it was a fun movie with an interesting plot and the acting was great.

the movie isnt that good.. you've got to read the book to understand why catholics want to ban the movie. there are lots of stuff that was not shown in the movie too...

i like the movie and the book though for entertainment only but it didn't shake my faith in any way

well, it's hard to say whether the movie is bad or not.

Christians should be thankful this movie actually supports the theory that Jesus did exist in the first place. There is NO proof that he ever did exist and even then how did he posses "magical" type powers.

The only way you can say this is full of shit is to prove otherwise.
Either way it was still an interesting movie.

Dan Brown is not the only man who suggests this idea, his book is the reflection of ideas of many authors and scientists. i read the book "Sion brotherhood and Da Vinci" all ideas are the same only everything with facts.
