The ticket system sucks.
If a car is getting a ticket, the amount of money the ticket should be on should match the income + wealth of the owner of the car.

For example, you have 2 guys. One make a million dollar a year + has a wealth on 5 million. The other guy works at mcdonalds and make 25k a year.

That means, if the mcdonaldsguy get a 50 dollar ticket (0.002% of his salary), the first guy (richguy) should pay the same % on his wealth.

What a good system that would be.

That's how it works in finland. You pay a % of your income if you're caught speeding. There's been 1M+ fines.

lol.. I started to think about it, and I think it was 100,000eur fines, not 1 mil.
Still quite a nice sum.

Fines SHOULD be progressive, otherwise rich people won't feel a thing when they violate the law. If they have to pay the same amount as a poor guy, relative to their money..it's gonna sting. As it should.
