It's correct. But so are all the others I've seen, must be because I live in the capital.

This is displaying a suburb for me, not a city. This seems to be a recurring problem for APNIC sourced data. Is it the maxmind db?

I am actually in Australia. It's not the first time I've seen a geoIP system say I'm in Geneva.

First one never heard of that place mabye its a surburb, fuzebox's city is right on

Says LA for me, however, LA is big. I would like it closer personally...

I have never seen one GeoIP hit my city or suburb.
My ISP presumably does weird things w/ its IP blocks

How far off is it? According to most geoIP I'm in Richlands QLD, but I'm actually in Melbourne Vic. :winkwink: It is correct though as it's a legacy address for my IP block which I can't change.

Some sites say "Richlands 02" or "Richlands NSW" which is completely incorrect

Closest I have seen so far.... shows denver for me... usually I get Arvada, but I live in Westminster

I'm currently in Sherbrooke and it says Ottawa (500km away). But normally from my handle I post from Ottawa so I don't know if it has anything to do with that.
