Anybody else getting massive comment spam
 

Holy shit, its coming at the rate of 1 per min. For hours already. The guy is hitting all the pages on my blogs.

Guess its time to install image verification!

as i scrub thru the search engines and come across content thieves and then search google groups, the same thieves are also abusing the comment spams. not a pretty picture....

why not just disable comments?

Is this the guy pushing the child porn sites? I'm getting those every minute. My blogs get hit with the gambling/pharmacy spam non-stop.

yeah one per min or so, its moderated so he cant get shit through but its annoying true

It's a pity to do away with the SE advantage that real comments provide. Spam Karma, Bad Behavior and a bunch of others will all but eliminate comment spam and if they are not enough, you can also unlink the author's name and eliminate linking from comments.

Right now I'm waiting for feedback from iacash, radicalcash, sapphiccash and getcybercash as to why I started getting lol*ta spam this afternoon to email addresses which are unique to each of them. Oh wait, I won't be getting a response from getcybercash: the email address given in their webmaster area doesn't exist...

ive got 'comments closed' on all my WP blogs, and still i get comment spam thats pending in the admin.... today there's indeed a huge rise in the comment spam

The second is dealing with lolita spam to YOUR inbox, correct?

We have scoured all support emails and not seen ONE message from you or anyone else regarding us doing anything like this.

Please ICQ me or email us at affiliates at sapphiccash dot com IMMEDIATELY about this so I can see wtf is going on. I would like to see the headers if possible.

Is the spam message the same all across the board?

If so, would that not tell you it's not the sponsors doing it?

I cannot speak for OTHER programs, but I know for a fact that SapphicCash goes to GREAT LENGTHS to take care of our affiliates, even behind the scenes. We don't sell lists or the like AT ALL.

Damm just got this email from my spam karma reports on one of my blogs:

"There have been 108 comment spams caught since the last digest report 1 day, 3 hours ago."

Definitely an increase in attempts lol, fuckers. :)

there is one good way of doing comment spam correctly. :D

I keep getting insurance and sports betting ones. they never make it to the site though.

one thing i dont understand is that i have my blog set for only registered users can post comments, yet i get a bunch of spam comments from users who dont exist on my blog.
how are they able to post comments without registering when i have my blog set explicity set only registered users can post?
