I used to be a network engineer for one of the most popular websites in the world. I figured it would be easy to handle a couple of million hits a day with my knowledge, on minimal hardware.. so I thought that would give me a competitive advantage over other freehosts.

Before that, I bagged groceries. I am also a partner in a major design firm.

well currently i slave away at my 9-5 at a very big corporate company as a "internet marketing dept.". If this buisness keeps going at the rate its going now for myself I will quit...soon...

well i was a paramedic/firefighter for 10 years 3 of them years I was Paid 50k a year Now I cant make 50 cents lol

Sly - Carl's bought Hardee's several years ago. Carl's is west coast and Hardee's is east coast.

Actually the store mostly did wine & ciders. Some beer, but that wasn't as popular.
Beer just doesn't taste as good as the stuff you can buy from a store. Pretty close but there is always a little difference.

The wine turned out great and pretty difficult to notice a difference between the stuff we made and the store bought.
In BC there are tons of those outfits.
Check them out, its fun & cheap to make your own. :)

BTW I'm getting free bottles all the time, sometimes cases of the stuff.

I was a CNC machinist for 20 years. I made metal machine parts for all sorts of bombs, planes, radar equipment and space shuttles.....some with tolerances of + or - .0001 of an inch. The job bored the shit outta me, I like this much better.

i went direct from university to this business in '96. before that, i worked in a genetics lab for about a year. before that i worked nothing but shit jobs (liquor store clerk, etc).
