Take him up on it, you have obviously wasted the past 2 1/2 years that you owned it. No PR at all? |

b) the link was a video showing a bike without the fairings as an example to someone else who has and rides motorcycles. c) you're not very bright. |
good luck with the sale

heh GFY as usual, :)
I got a $2.2k bid, I might consider it since judging from your responses nobody else on this board is interested. |

Naked = No Fairings |

|
good luck

I used to have a naked street bike, ...it was a Kawasaki ZR-7S. It was a pretty nice bike for my first street bike. Sold it a few years ago now.

We've traded over $400k worth of names (bought or sold) in the past 2 years. |
The term Naked Bike is widely used in Europe. Thats how europeans describe
crotch-rockets without all the body work. With a good broker you should in fact get a lot more for it than $4.5K :2 cents: |
good luck with the sale kinda pricy IMO

I am sorry . . . but do you think I have never seen or owned a bike without a fairing? Again, as stated above, I have never heard anyone call their bike "naked" just because the fairings were taken off. You say "everyone that has a crotch rocket and takes the fairings off does." Everyone where? |
Good name, good price ... good luck ^^

Your link showed only one bike that was stripped of fairings, which sort of defeats the purpose of a machine designed to haul ass in the first place. Your link example made it seem unpopular ... thus my stupid question. Nice attitude ..... |
baddog :)
Results 1 - 10 of about 39,900 English pages for "naked bikes" (search as a phraze) Results 1 - 10 of about 1,770,000 English pages for naked bikes. (0.08 seconds) --- google for the term, open up some pages... --- European trends are shifting away from crotch rockets to a more urban machine, in the USA the term in use is "streetfighter", over here in Europe it's "naked bikes". Anyways, google for the bikes I mentioned in my first post. These bikes will grow in popularity because: a) upward sitting position, greater view of the road ahead for city driving b) 30%+ cheaper than their faired bretherin, yet extremely powerful c) easy to maintain. Btw I drive Yamaha Fz-6 naked http://www.motorrijder.be/extra/Yama...0actie%203.jpg |
Oh and forgot to mention, japanese manifacturers avoid shipping "naked" versions of their bikes over to USA. They reserve these goodies for Japanese and European markets. :) I've seen lots of angry americans coz of this.
For example, you can't buy the naked Yamaha FZ-6 and FZ-1 in the states, only the half-faired versions. |

Purchasing a "naked" bike from the dealer makes sense. The difference in price, comfort, maintenance are obvious. Stripping expensive high performance parts off an existing bike then dedicating a website to this practice just did not sound right. Good luck ......... |
If someone offered you 2.2k for it, take the money and run, that is probably more than 2k more than it is really worth.
Enjoy. Alex |

Besides.. having the keyword as the domain name doesn't offer as much benefit in ranking as most people think. |

i couldnt tell the difference between a $50k and $3k bike so i cant really comment on this
but if such a term is used indeed, then it seems to be a good domain to the end-user |

Heh the confusion this caused is perfectly justified. More pics:

Lowest I'd go is $3k for this name.
|
Good domain, and it really is a very common term, despite what many people in this thread are saying.
