It looks like a letter from an attorney to me. Not all letters mention law offices. Some guys are private counsel only.

Paul is a great lawyer and a lot more fair than most. I would suspect that ContentPinup had a valid argument and Paul recognized that, as would any competent attorney. It also looks as if he did stop them from any possible further damages to his client.
