This is why Epassporte sucks ass.
I've avoided signing up for this service because I've never really cared for the way they do some things. I've also had problems with Epoch in the past and the relation of the two companies was another reason for me to avoid them.
Well.....Here I sit trying to pay Kandah for a content package so I signed up for an epassporte account and loaded it with $175.00. They took their $10 loading fee and then when I attempted my transfer, I received the following message: "You cannot transfer funds to another account if your account is less than 3 days old." So....I promptly got on the phone with Epassporte and contacted one of their reps on ICQ. The rep on ICQ told me it was not possible to over ride this but the rep on the phone said it was. She put me on hold. When she returned, she informed me that the country where the money was being sent (Sweden) was considered a high risk county and because of that, I would not be able to make the transfer at all. At this point I asked for a full refund to my card including their $10 load fee. I was told they would not refund the load fee but that I could set up a bank transfer for my remaining balance. WTF kind of bullshit is that? Yeah, it's only 10 bucks but how many other people have you fucked out of load fees for a service that can not be used? Why is there nothing in your terms that mentions a 3 day wait for this service and since when is Sweden considered a high risk country? So I asked for a supervisor. I get put on hold for several more minutes then the same rep comes back and tells me that in fact, Sweden is not a high risk country but that there is a glitch in their system that is not allowing peer to peer transfers and that she will need to submit a tech ticket to have it looked into. That's fine and all but what does any of that have to do with the $10 load fee or me speaking to a supervisor? So, here I sit with Epassporte tying up my money and keeping 10 bucks for a service that doesn't fucking work. :321GFY |
Awwww you need a kiss!
:wetkiss |
Now, I still want to do this deal so if any of you have paypal and will take a paypal payment from me then pay Kandah with epassporte, I would appreciate it. I will not be paying his PayPal directly because that's a great way for me to get my own PayPal shut down.

No, I need companies who's services work properly and who customer service reps actually care and do what it takes to make a difference. Maybe I should have "axed" the lady why she was so rude. |
They'll take two more bucks if you move it to a USA bank account. And, to be the bearer of even more bad news, instead of the 3-4 days they claim for the transfer of funds to be completed, it's taking most of us 8-10 days for it to show up in our accounts.
While I love ePassporte, they have a horrible reputation for customer service, despite the best efforts of Keyzer. Calling for help is laughable at best. If they could not do peer-to-peer transactions I think we'd be reading about this on all the boards. Sweden being a high-risk country would be surprising, as not even the card associations consider that country high risk. |

Well that also but all I can give you is a kiss hun. :thumbsup |
And yet another ePassporte problem thread. Wait, they're giving away $1k, forget about the problems!

Keyser says the 3 day thing is a new rule to prevent fraud.....That's understandable but why is it not mentioned in their TOS? Oh yeah...Because they suck. |

I have stopped using Epass... Im amazed you got support right away....
But other people like them... |
New accounts can't send p2p transactions the first 3 days this is to prevent fraud.
I appologize for you getting the wrong info from CS Aaron. |
Sweden, high-risk country?

You are going to notice a few things you won't like about it. Unfortunately, it is a necessary evil to conduct business in adult.

That's cool man. I have no problem with that..IF IT'S CLEARLY DISCLOSED in the TOS. Which, it is not. |

Fuck that. I've been doing business without them and will continue to do so. But now, I will bash the hell out of them every chance I get. All over 10 bucks, bad service, and inconveniencing me. :glugglug |

Maybe one day, when threads like this haven't popped up in some time. |

From their account signup page: "Choose a Personal account to shop online or around the corner. You can obtain a Virtual Visa for anonymous online shopping within minutes! You can even send money to any other ePassporte cardholder instantly anywhere!" Can you say False Advertising? And yes, I did verify the small transaction on my account. |

Sometimes they don't show up because they are pending amounts, we can verify your card manually if you email me I can help you get an account setup. |
business could be so much better if youd just let it....it just boggles the mind on why Customer Service isnt focused on, and simply just telling the truth and not witholding any of it.
I'll just leave it at that :P |

Was it a new epassporte account or an existing one? |

I have found their service to be a little below par myself.
I have only received payments, so sending them has not been a problem for me. Regardless, the length of time it took for me to sign up, verify my credit card and verify my account for withdrawals was significantly longer than I liked. I have internet banking and can see all pending transactions for my account. Also, once I had finally verified my account, it took about 7 working days for the money just to show as "pending" in my bank account. I bank with Wells Fargo, and generally any pending transactions I have appear very promptly, but not with epassporte, so I am disappointed with their service on the whole. |

Keyser has been stellar in his representation of this company, but it's obvious that he can only do so much. Some of the phone support people over there need to shape up, as does the person or persons in charge of keeping the information on their website current. |

Ya see....That's exactly what makes you a troll. :1orglaugh |
