Tonight's Sopranos

Fuck I laughed my ass off at all the fag shit those guys were saying. No disrespect intended to our gay bretheren here, but you can't help but laugh at some of the wisecracks going on in this episode.

Somehow the term "pillow biter" coming outta Tony's mouth makes it 10x funnier. :1orglaugh

Thoughts?

Vito might be a dead man. But maybe not. The real life gay community might get all up in arms if they off a gay guy for being gay on the show.

Morgan 04-16-2006 09:02 PM

it's far too late for me to pay any attention to that show

Warning Pages 04-16-2006 09:07 PM

Yeah the comment's made on the show were funny as hell. As to Vito getting wacked it's yet to be seen, but one thing we can expect is backlash from the gay community. Either way you look at it, or the show turns out. They will have something to say.

madawgz 04-16-2006 09:08 PM

haha it was a good ep.

I love the fact that the show stays funny even though its not really a comedy show. Every now and then they say or do some of the funniest fucking shit, I love it.

By the way, did you get me that number? :)

I didn't see any numbers. Wasn't sure what scene I was supposed to be looking for..... there was one part where the fat fag was in the car, got a call and looked at his cell phone display for a few seconds.... but I didn't see a phone number.

Sorry.

shermo 04-16-2006 09:59 PM

I thought for sure that Vito offed himself last week in the motel room. Who knows what to expect now!

CDSmith 04-16-2006 10:00 PM

By the way, that exchange on the phone between Tony and that highway roadside worker was fucking PRICELESSSSSSS!!!

:D

Red Ezra 04-16-2006 10:02 PM

funny show this week - how about the terrorists angle developing? I saw this coming on the episode where the fbi guys mentioned that shit to chris - could go that way...would be cool!

I dont think the gay community will get upset with it because it portray's reality and opens peoples eyes:2 cents:

Funny how they are showing how even the mob deals with real life nobody has a perfect family.

Yeah, that and you can also see that Meadow is in for some rough times with her career, because of who she is.

And I still think AJ is at some point going to fuck up so bad he'll have to be dealt with in a convincing way.

Back to that convo with Tony and that roadside worker, it went something like this....

"Hello?"
"Vito??"
"There's no Vito here"
"Yeah right. What'r you, suckin' his dick?"
"Hey FUCK YOU"
"Yaa, put Vito on ya fuckin ^&@!##!!"
"Hey, I found this phone at the side of the road!"
"What?"
"Hang on a sec...."
(throws phone under a steamroller"
"Hello?.... Hello???"
"BZZZSSSTTTTRGTDQAZZZZ...."
"FUCK!"

Of course its a comedy, just a very dark one.

uno 04-16-2006 10:22 PM

The best part, imo, was Vito finding Gay Heaven in New Hampshire.

BigCashCrew 04-16-2006 10:29 PM

that show is classic. I laughed my ass off watching that tonight.

CDSmith 04-16-2006 10:29 PM

Tony: "You know, I hate to let a good producer like him go"
"He's a 'come-from-behind' kinda guy"
Christopher: <breaks up laughing, trying to hold it in>

I tell you, I nearly fucking died laughing at those comments :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

my fiance said the same thing, but I didn't really pick up on it being a gay town. was it? The pottery guy seemed gay but everyone else seemed normal.

Yeah, that was an interesting twist in the story. Maybe he'll stay there and live a happy gay life. :1orglaugh

The two guys at the diner that came into together, the gay cook that seemed to be flirting the vito, then the fruit in the pottery/antiques shop...

I didn't see him at the shooting of episode 11. I highly doubt they'll wind up taking a "Seinfeldian" tact with this. "Not that there's anything wrong with it." That just isn't how they operate. Things may be different than they used to be, but not that different.

The second I saw that antique shop when he was walking by, I knew he was going to go in it and it would be run by a gay guy.

Anything this season related to Vito and around Vito has been heavily gay themed. Every conversation, every joke, every comment, the ways that he acts, et al.

In New England, in a lot of places, gay marriage is fine and acceptable and the people don't care.

BV 04-16-2006 11:14 PM

Interesting episode!

I never liked Vito much from the start, then after Fin caught him with the security guard last season that really made him a hated character. Also the first few episodes this season gave you all the more reasons to not like Vito.

But now suddenly you kind of feel sorry for the guy. "Who knows" if he'll get whacked.

I thought T's fight last week with his driver was a set up between them to make T still look strong and in charge, but after tonight i guess not. That's what I like about this show. You never know.

I have this feeling that Vito's business sense might kick in and see unexplored avenues for lending gay businesses loans, blackmail, or using them as unlikely fronts for money laundering. :pimp

reynold 04-17-2006 12:22 AM

that's a classic, very good indeed.

BV 04-17-2006 12:25 AM

I think Christopher is going to be tagging Meadow in the end..

Bansheelinks 04-17-2006 12:30 AM

Wait, their all family, wouldn't that be near-incest? My money'd be on Tony seeing it that way.

However, I'll give you this much.... I don't see Meadow and Fin going the distance.

It wasn't a setup, but it was T proving to the other guys he was still the Boss, he didn't really have any beef with that guy, he was just the most physically imposing so knocking him down had the biggest effect.

Well they have always made a point that T is not really Christophers uncle by blood. Or at least thats what I remembered coming up at least twice in past episodes. Right?

They sure have her looking hot this season!

Right, I got the concept part, i just though T may have had made a deal with his driver beforehand to take an easy fall. Seemed like T took him out too easy for a man of his post surgical condition.

Expo_Vids 04-18-2006 12:45 AM

Meadow is hot this season. I want to make little bambinos with her.

CDSmith 04-23-2006 11:19 AM

I can't wait for tonight's episode.

well, tony will not kill Vitto, but I will guarantee that someone else will even though Tony does not want that to happen. I agree though, it was a funny episode lol

It's amazing how real life and fiction merge.
