Keep your schedules open for May 5th. Hotel arrangements for the out of towners will be posted on Monday.

Let's party!

And whatever you do, don't tell Lindsay. It's a surprise!

Raven 04-13-2006 04:54 PM

When we pick up Lindsay, we will be checking into whatever hotel Brett and Deraj come up with and will probably keep the party going until we drop or whenever his plane leaves for parts unknown.....it's going to be a great weekend.

Big E 04-13-2006 05:31 PM

Just booked my ticket.. coming in on the 4th. Let me know what hotel you guys are staying at..

aimeesweet 04-13-2006 05:41 PM

I hope I can make it up to celebrate cinco de mayo with my favorite aussie!

Raven 04-13-2006 05:48 PM

Awesome. I hope you both make it.....Deraj says we'll know which hotel by Monday...'cause we're going to check into one, too...since everyone knows LINDSAY can't hold his liquor..LOL

Most people don't know that back in 1912, Hellmann's mayonnaise was manufactured in England.
In fact, the Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico, which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after its stop in New York.

This would have been the largest single shipment of mayonnaise ever delivered to Mexico. But as we know, the great ship did not make it to New York. The ship hit an iceberg and sank, and the cargo was forever lost.

The people of Mexico, who were crazy about mayonnaise, and were eagerly awaiting its delivery, were disconsolate at the loss.

Their anguish was so great, that they declared a National Day of Mourning, which they still observe to this day.

The National Day of Mourning occurs each year on May 5th and is known, of course, as Sinko de Mayo.

Don't give him ideas.

I'm saving him for Florida.

And yes, OK, I'm leaving this thread.

:thumbsup :1orglaugh :pimp

BrettJ 04-16-2006 10:48 PM

Hey Guys,

Jared and I have narrowed the hotel search down to a couple ...

The roosevelt hotel and the edgewater are the two we would recommend. Nice rooms. Both have good nearby ammenties. The edgewater is on the water and is great for out of town guests that want to see what seattle has to offer. The roosevelt is in the heart of downtown and is good for people that would want to do a little shopping , etc.

http://www.roosevelthotel.com/rooms.htm $200 / night
http://www.edgewaterhotel.com/ 240+ / night

If you're on a bit of a budget... or plan to get soooo fucked up that you really don't care where you sleep... might I recommend either Jared's bed... or

Holiday Inn Express: $110 ------ 1 800 315 2621
Sherarton Phone $149 ------- (206) 621-9000

reynold 04-17-2006 01:00 AM

I'm totally bumbed. I'm going to be in Puerto Penesco for Cinco de Mayo. I would have loved to come up there for Lindsay's B-Day Bash.

I was so excited for my Mexico trip ... I'm actually a little sad now. :(
