Rubix cube... ever tried? (pic)
Everyone born before 1980 has played with it.
Yeah, it easy as hell. You just start peeling off the stickers and putting them back on so that the colors match... LOL
As a 5 year old I moved all the stickers to solve it. My older brothers kicked the shit out of me....:(
Once or twice. I am not even good on it.
yep they were a fun way to pass the time.
They were the bathroom toy of choice before gameboy:)

Rubik's Cube is easy the hard one is the one just like the orginal but you have to make it into the cube along with mathing up the colors.
a fellow geek taught me how to solve it back in high school. the center cube in each face will be your referrence color. but it takes me more than an hour to solve it

What's more fun than solving it the tradional way is making the colors spell "OHIO" and yes it can be done. The OHIO puzzle was one of the old school mod solutions.
been there...
I remember seeing one of those painted with nail polish. It was pretty awsome, they painted it to look like a galaxy. Really nicely done.

my brother would kick me in the ass everytime I would do that. he said once you move the stickers, there's no way you can solve the cube again coz everything is disarranged |

I was trying to find the name of it but besides rubix cube we had a rectangle style chain link game. You had to slide the pieces up and around in order to get all three sides the same colors. Those two and the old simon says game that you had to hit the colors the same as the game did. All the good old late 70's and early 80's. :upsidedow

The easiest method for solving it was to take it apart and put it back together. |
many mmoons ago
The best I ever did was get it 3/4ths done...then I fucked it up.
I never had the patience to solve that shit
I've played that stuff several times. I even got into a fight with my older brother because of that.

I still think those of us that took the sitckers off and rearanged there were the ones that showed our problem solving skills.
Of course my mom never bought the real one. Mine had fruit on it instead. |

the Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernhahaha337; Rubik is the man behind this mind-boggling cube.
I don't think i've ever completed one...

I could never get my head round Rubix cubes, I used to watch guys on guiness world records solve them in lixe 2.5 seconds flat and be like wtf...

They announced the contest at 10:05 and at 10:15 I had won. It took me a while to convince them that I could do it in minutes instead of days. My fastest time was 1:21. Total geek... |
So when can we see bigwheels and greenmachines making a comeback?
Lawn darts, anyone? |
