some photos from this weekend (PICS)

Went up to mammoth for the weekend. I stoped at Manzanar on the way and took some pics. My back is messed up so i shot these 'blind' meaning i couldnt look at the shot through viewfinder... just pointed cam and guesstimated it hehe :winkwink:

Manzanar- Manzanar War Relocation Center was one of ten camps at which Japanese American citizens and resident Japanese aliens were interned during World War II. Located at the foot of the imposing Sierra Nevada in eastern California's Owens Valley, Manzanar has been identified as the best preserved of these camps.

Very nice photos. they just ahd a big article here in San Diego about that.

SilentKnight 02-27-2006 04:07 PM

Excellent shots.

They really convey a stark sense of bleak loneliness, but contrasted against a very beautiful landscape.

I'd consider a few of them frame worthy. :thumbsup

DutchTeenCash 02-27-2006 04:10 PM

must admit never heard it before but I bet the atmosphere there must be the different

Pornwolf 02-27-2006 04:14 PM

You'd take better pictures blind than I would with Dean Captures vision.
