Over 400,000hits and ZERO sales
 

I am starting to worry about the future for gallery submitters.

I pay over $1,000/mth in paid partner accounts I get over 400,000hits /day yesterday and I even got listed on thehun at the top of his site and not a single sale.

Yeah... every month goes by more free sites go paid and the paid accounts get more expensive because of high demand. Wonder when this bubble is going to burst.

What was your membership cost ? 1000.00 per month? lol.. 400k even if you got 5 sales still doesnt add up to the bandwith burned

Test out differant sites with differant photos, my friend told me once that he signs up for any site that has good samples of a chic that he likes.

That clickthru ratio is insane. I am lucky to get 0.5% click thru

I been doing this for 5years.. There is nothing you can tell me that I don't already know. I do movie galleries.

Anyways I just wanted to share since this paid partner account trend is catching on like wildfaire and there is less money to be made let allone the profit loss from the paid accounts themselves.

are you a submitter? trust me 0.5% CT is normal.

3 day trials for $2.83... converts just as good as $1 sites though... give them a try on a couple gals and see how it goes. If you want to try them out, get in touch with me and I will work with you to see which site would do best ect.

Sorry if you thought I was insulting you I was only trying to help. With this rate something is wrong that's all either your galleries or the sponser. The internet evolves so fast that years of doing something perfect can mean nothing tomorrow, everyday is a new playing field!

The "funny" thing about a lot of the smaller $20-50/month to submit sites was that it was started in order to weed out the "cheaters". The logic went something like .... a cheater won't spend money to get a partner account... and to a cheater that doesn't have much money, that may be true. But some of the biggest "cheaters" around are using this industry to deliver their exploits etc. so they can then use the surfers computer to spam. They're making so much money that spending a few thousand on partner accounts a month is nothing to them.

I personally believe that a lot of sites will need to start taking free submissions again as the ROI for submitters decreases. Far superior submission and scanning software would make weeding out cheaters far easier than it is now. I've already noticed some sites that went all FHGs are stopping that practice and starting to take submissions again.

I think more and more sponsors will submit FHG directly to your site with your linkcode but these FHG will be getting much better and cleaner like the gals most webmasters make today.

Yeah, but eventually everyone will start to clue in that:

A. not having galleries submitted to them from a shit load of different domains is having a serious impact on their PR and traffic just filtering in from a lot of different places.

B. that by everyone listing nothing but FHGs, you're creating PR and SE hits to all those sponsors for their FHGs and they begin to take over the serps etc. for terms you're competing for.

But there is no way sites will accept free submitters untill WAY better software is created to make cheating impossible.
