Women - thoughts - are flowers cool early in a relationship?
4th date is valentines day - thinking of getting her some flowers for it.
is that too soon for flowers? thoughts? |
Flowers women lovve even if you havent dated him. Just buy some flowers, walk up to a lady in the street and give them to her and she will blow you.

Flowers are just right! But dont get red, get yellow or pink but not red!!!
|
Flowers are always nice... kinda useless thought... she won't think about you 2-3 days after... since they'll be in the garbage.
Buy her jewelery and every time she'll wear it she'll have you in her mind. |

what kind do you suggest? |

|
Chicks always dig flowers,no matter what..even a single rose on a date
|
def do it imo. Last ones I got for my fiance was some pink roses right before I left for a weekend trip.
|
flowers are nice I would go with some thing other then roses.
|
Sleazy trust me my friend. This is a bad idea.
I know I am going to take some heat from the ladies here, but I am protecting my friend. If you set a precedent this early with flowers you are asking for her mind to start expecting these types of things. Long term, if you really like this girl, and she is not just a bone, then this is a bad idea. This early keep things simple. Do something different show your creative side. Gifts and especially flowers should be saved for later. Just giving you my 2cents good buddy |
For a 4th date that falls on Valentine's Day, flowers are cool.
Just don't go overboard and get her some large ass arrangement that will seem like you are a fatal attraction case. Something nice and elegant, which lets her know you are smart enough to know you need to get her something, and also smart enough to realize that on the 4th date you shouldn't get too much. Edit:~nods in agreement with Sammy~ A bunch of cut spring-like flowers will do just fine. |

I'm a girl and here is my POV: flowers are overrated and kinda boring...be creative :)
|
it's Valentines day.. it's a flowers and candy sort of day, but heed the advice about buying a sweet bunch of flowers instead of a hearse full. It's about making her feel special rather than showing you have a ton of money.
Then, if sex is on the menu, get some decadently expensive chocolates for after. Just get a few and then when the hungries hit, feed one to her. if she hasn't got a gift for you.. eat the chocolates yourself. |

However, the fact remains that women are women. If he is going to be taking the lady in question on a 4th date, he obviously likes spending time with her thus far. I think a *small* token that acknowledges Valentine's Day will be seen as a good thing in her eyes. |
My girl always expects for flowers on special occassions. :winkwink:
|
Yeah girls love flowers. Don't go spending too much tho. Do not overwhelm her with gifts, just keep it simple and cheap.
|
I was going to give my opinion but then I read the thread title again.....
|
There's never a wrong time for flowers.

I know personally, it's the gesture and not the gift that means a LOT to me. Doesn't everyone want to be remembered on a special day or any day for that matter? Note: People in relationships just for sex and/or money and gifts do not apply to the above statement. ^^^^ |
no, it's not too early... flowers depict a thousand words. im sure your date will be elated if you'll give her a bouquet
|
hey, i say give her bass strings - that's what i'd want ;)
when i first started seeing my fiance, i used to bring his cat cat treats or bring him a book on programming (he's into computers). they weren't gifts that said serious (it was way too early) and they were fun to give. on the other hand, a few flowers on valentine's day seems traditional. or get good quality silk flowers and they'll last. |
I've just had a row with my other half - give her nothing, crazy mind warped bitch. J/K.
4 dates sounds like a perfect time to do the romantic stuff - especially if you haven't got to all bases yet =) |

Its getting pathetic when you have to turn to GFY to get your love life going. |
|
Roses are great (since it is Valentines)... make it 6 long stem, not red but look for some in a striking colour or make all six different colours (in which case 1 red is ok)... contrary to popular opinion not all women will start expecting flowers or gifts on a regular basis. Quality time spent showing a genuine interest in the other person is the best way to grow a relationship. The sleding date sounds like fun and a good way to find out if she shares your interests. Above all else be yourself and have fun.

get her some everday
