just out of couriosity are there anyone on this board making more than a quick buck on sig whoring??

I mean are there people in here +$1000/month in combined income in terms of signups from the sig and sig money

my guess is no... I just began to wonder because some people really post with such eager and I am amazed if they can motivate themselves to do this for $200 bucks or something like that

I have gotten some great thing from gfy but non of it came out of my sig thats for sure.... love it as a place to find new biz partners and sometimes it's just damn funny to be in here :thumbsup

my best month ever I broke $100, usually do $50-$60/month though... just enough to buy a few 12 packs, bottle of booze, and throw a small party with some friends... :thumbsup

Sig marketing is still evolving. I have a feeling 2006 will bring some major changes regarding this method of advertising :)

sigwhores are lame, its an excuse for not knowing how to webmaster properly, its for people who like to pretend so they can just use that "pretending to be a webmaster" to network and sell a product.

I am developing a concept which will revolutionize sig whoring.

The problem with sig whoring is that 9 out of 10 peeps that sign up under your sig just sit on their asses.

There are definitly a couple guys on this board who are making 1000+ a month constantly... I can assure you that.

Can a new guy come and make 1000+ a month ? I doubt it.

But we get a sizeable amount of biz off of a combo of sigs and ocassionaly showing off our works

Yeah, i'm sure that being branded as a 'useless sigwhore' really raises your moneymaking abilities.

I know a guy who outsourced his nick and makes an easy few hundred per month... or at least it was the case last year, cause he said sth that the outsourcing prices went up lol. In other words, no posting from his side, but money in his pocket.

I was selling my sig too few months ago, last time I was getting only $300 for it, its an irony that an completely un-noticed outsourced nickname who had an old deal with a big company that bought sigs in bulk, was getting significantly more lol.

But I'd agree that the sig market almost died, at leats compared to 2004 when it started. From what I saw even KRL didn't get any good offers for his sigs lately, although - regardless of what is happening with men.com :winkwink: - he is still one of the most recognized posters here.

So overall, you have to be a top posting machine like Juicy, or you need to have strong biz relations with a particular company outside GFY ( which most likely means = sending lots of sales, or doing any promo on shows etc ).

Obviously they are still companies that come to GFY and buy a few sigs fast, but they most often buy sigs from guy who registered 3 months before, and are happy with $50 per month lol.
