Is there any host out there that would litterlally pull the plug out of a server over 300 bucks past due 2 weeks? or even a month? or even 2 months? Please tell me what hosts would do this.. I just cant fathom the idea, of a professional company pulling the plug on live servers over 300 bucks.. especially when you have been paying them ontime for several months prior, and 1 invoice happens to get missed.

mikes excuse? Someone at epic had an attitude, it was a holiday, we had an outstanding balance therefor refused to service a down server.

btw.. they are back at Split Infinity with all my other servers.

the server was down on xmas eve.... they pulled the plug on it today when we informed them we were leaving.. no shut down or anything.. literally pulled the plug right out of the wall on 2 live servers....

There must be more to this story. First of all pimpdog you should pay your hosting bills ontime, can you imagine if all their customers didnt pay like you, then they couldn't pay their provider and or data center, and then another Like whoa incident all over again. Second, I think moose and phatservers seem to be a stand up company and you are known as a total Idiot thus I would tend to believe their is more to this story then your one side. :2 cents:

I know everyone here loves the drama, but there is none and see no reason this was even brought here.And there are two sides to every story and the one posted is a bit skewed as usual.
We were asked to take the servers offline today by someone at epic named Ethan, so we complied.
Here is the log of the convo if your guy Ethan failed to show it to you between your tech and one of mine:

[10:44] EMG Ethan: It's going ok, how are you?
[10:44] prodiac: alright
[10:45] EMG Ethan: I wanted to arrange for Joel to pick up that server again...
[10:45] EMG Ethan: actaully both servers
[10:46] prodiac: Okay, will you be cancelling service?
[10:46] EMG Ethan: Yes, but not until we pay the bill
[10:47] EMG Ethan: I assume the billing problem has been worked out, right?
[10:47] prodiac: I dont have that information, Jim talked with Billing, thats all I know, but I will find out information on if anything needs to be done before the servers are picked up, and I will get back to you shortly

At this point we removed the server like requested.

That is fucked up. I had a 3 month over due balance on my account becaus ethe rebill didnt save me CC number like i thought. they didnt even say anything to me until my hun listing went up.

When they called they told me I needed to pay in the next couple days to continue service. I've never just had it taken down.

This won't be another bdjuf but this can become pretty big over $300 lol
