Thats what paysite scene is all about. They have to use very aggressive advertising because their competitors do, too.

Everyone would be better off if no aggressive adrvertising was being used.

Maybe surfers dont click banners any more - not because of TGP's - but because they are taken to a pop up hell and sites that put dialers in their desktops dammit.

Simply, I was very pissed to see a paysite (that I have always had a deep respect for) put a damn exe in my desktop.

I never did understand all the fuss about dialers. WTF??? I've been to countless sites, and have never once had a dialer self-install and dial something up without my knowledge. You gotta allow the fuckin' thing onto your system in the first place, and secondly... . if you do happen to be on a dialup connection, do you not realize something is up when your connection severs and dials a new number? Are dialup modems completely silent now? Shouldn't there be a clue screaming at you when you suddenly have access to all kinds of porn from one place, but can't reach any other sites?

If you can install a dialer exe
- you can install any exe

I still don't understand mika...... why don't you simply stop installing the exe's? Unless it's some software program you're downloading, why would you install an exe for any other reason?

Amp as a designer - would you rather use your creativity in designing a nice tour that sells OR use it for finding new ways to trick the surfer and even a seasoned webmaster?

I just create the things. 90% graphic work, 10% html. I use very specific html in every single site. What the owner does with it after delivery is out of my control.

In some degree yes....but on the other hand no. If my competitors are trying to screw people they will most of all hurt themselfes. If I don't follow my competitors and just be fair to my opinion I will get rewarded for that....might not be inmediately but I am in NO way entitled to tell others how to run their business! I may not agree with it....but that's another thing.

Never try go get better by putting others down.....they will do that themselfes.....just concentrate on your own stuff. If the public thinks it's better they will chose you!

I don't like the fact that Microsuck makes you call them for codes after you've done 6 *upgrades* on an XP machine.... I think it fucking blows. Curiousity about your competitors is normal. But ranting about them because they found a way to make some extra bling bling that you don't happen to agree with because it makes you delete something.... to me seems a waste of breath. And I'm not saying you can't rant about it and express your thoughts.... just that, I honestly don't think anyone is going to stop doing it just because you don't like it. Know what I mean?
