More CJ Ultra Bullshit
 

Sorry to bring this up again.... since we did <a href=http://gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53746>here</a> but today this fucking script pulled its last fucking trick on me and my trades. Yes Im pissed.

I wont single anyone out or mention names, but seriously I had a link "perm=blahblah.com" and its supposed to be a permanent link to my fucking trade... but nope, directed again to a site I do NOT trade with, but is buying traffic from Cj Ultra.... which normally would be fine, but on a fucking permanent trade link? This is fucking me AND my trades in the end.

I dont have 50k uniques a day to not give a fuck about sending a few hundred to the owner for using the script, I work hard for the 3k I do have and im working to build my traffic and gain respect with my trades, and in the end my fuckiing script is fucking me and my trades, it makes all my efforts worth shit.

If the shoe fits...--You wrote the script, Im just using it, I dont mind sending you some traffic for using the script,...but when you fuck my trades you make me look bad, and I dont fucking play that shit...

My outs say it went to a trade, when in fact it went to a site you are selling traffic to.

If you think Im bitching or should fucking shut up,... if this was your traffic going to a trade, but being directed elsewhere youd be barking too...

I heard good things about the script and asked around, and people on GFY and AWI told me to check out CJ Ultra before I buy something, so I did, now youre saying I should buy the 600$ script before even trying the free one? hmmm... :(

That should be 60 hits or so, if you have 3K a day. Why is the script re-directing several hundred?

Oh, but my points are relevant:

If you paid $600 for a script and then found out it was redirecting your traffic, then yes, of course you would have a reason to bitch and complain about it (and perhaps warn other webmasters not to buy that script).

However, you paid nothing for CJ Ultra and you knew going into it that skimming 1% of your clicks was part of the deal. There's nothing wrong with Lane's script, therefore you have nothing to complain about.

So go fuck yourself.

Currently there are 1200+ sites using it and nobody complained about malfunctions - and if so, Lane fixed it. :mad:

The script takes a % of the traffic going through the script, so if you have 3K, you'll not even send 100 hits to that special url.

You are obviously not satisfied with the free script taking a % of your traffic -> only 1 solution -> buy a script :glugglug

These days, for only $350 you can get your hands on a really good script that doesn't take some of your traffic and has tons of extra features.

You're right to try a free script first ... but when it doesn't work out there's no need to start bitching about it :winkwink:

Jack - the script is not supposed to send a "perm=trade" link to anyone but the trade. Just like the "&first=1" parameter is supposed to send them 100% to where I state, on their first click.... not whomever is buying traffic from *CJ...no matter if its free or not. But I know youll focus on that.

Im talking first clicks going out to someone other than is supposed to, on a fucking permanent link to a trade...but you dont know the exacts or the facts. I was planning on purchasing a script, its a process...its hard to just make the switch after a few trades and having 200+ links set up to do it on one script...

But youre right, I am no longer using it... but still think its fucked up, maybe I am wrong, maybe its my fucking opinion, but since this is public and I started the thread, you need not reply or comment.

Equinox, "CJ Ultra is and will always be...." that is what everyone told me to begin with, which is why I downloaded it. It installed easily, it ran flawlessly to the end... it was never about bad script, I LOVE the script... but it seems some people think whenever someone has a grievance or a question regarding something its their fault first? Or I am trying to badmouth them... wake up.

This was 2 weeks ago... since then, is when I have encountered things... and I took it to cjultra.com before anywhere...

Look I didnt want an argument, I was just pissed that in the light of the last weeks thread regarding this shit, I began changing out ALL my links, took the script links off of 200-300 links and then began checking them...checked my trades, and my trade went to the same site I was trying to get rid of in the first place... wouldnt you be a bit fucking ticked?

If you really want the link to be perm -- just use regular HTML...?

<a href="http://blah.com/">link</a> -- then you can just use some simple outstats script on your server if you really want accurate counting...

that may throw off your productivity a little bit but the damage is minimal and across the board w/ all trades so your site won't suffer at all. I even do this with my own scripts -- and usually I don't put ads behind a script either (either it's against TOS or there's no point anyway in knowing outs when sales are all that count...)

Let me guess you use free hosting for your empire aswell?

Cjultra is a great script, and i dont care about giving my traffic away! i just dont like when it goes to offshore clicks popup hell. when I swear up and down to my visitors that i dont link to people or trade with people who have popups and then 2% of my traffic goes to popuphell... Ok, I use Lane's script and have never had a problem. I understand that 1% will go out, and I'm fine with that.

But let's think about this. It says that 1% will go out. So you think you could just permlink all your trades and not give Lane his 1%?

Since Lane is gone on vacation, I'll called him up and this is his message to you:

Every outgoing link has the possibility to send traffic to me, if I wouldn't let the perm links send any traffic to me at all, sombody could just use it as a toplist and I wouldn't be getting anything out of it. But that's not the main point - I provide these scripts for free, even installations for free and technical support for free as well. And if there are more than 1000 sites using it, there must be a good reason for it. This will be my only message about this and if you need to contact me, wait until I get back from vacation in 8 days. See ya'll by then, I'll still try to check my support forum every once in a while.

I dont understand why everyone is focusing on the 3k...

Not sure on how the productivity numbers work, so I will do this in my own terms....

If I had 3k of traffic in one day, I would have well over 15k of clicks. My productivity was always showing well over 1600% - again, not sure on how the #'s work... but I dont use banners, and I dont use pop ups... and I know if 10 people hit my site, im getting at least 30 clicks...

so the 3k goes out the window because I have heard it doesnt matter what %, its a certain number of seconds within a set frame of a minute, so if the same person clicks 10 times on a page, and happens to click within that same frame he will go the trade.... or in this case, a traffic buyer...

So with more clicks, comes MORE possibilities of pop ups, and I didnt even mention the site pops 4 windows, including 1 non clickable to shut Internet Eraser alert window... but anyway....the rests better left unsaid

I will add, Im not talking about some TGP site, I was using this script for a personal site, that happens to have lots of traffic... well its, died down now that I cut off some trades...but anyway... thanks everyone.

If Lane would have given me a response instead of locking the topic and deleting my post, this could have been smoother. he could HAVE EASILY told me, "all links can send me traffic," but instead he deletes posts, and locks topic, then denies knowing about it?....

I would have accepted that answer gladly, as I said, I never cared about sending him traffic, just people who dodge simple questions for no reason make me wonder whats goin on... simple as that.

I installed FREE script & went from zip to 20-30k in less than 2 weeks.. fuck.. even if 10% went to Lanes trades, what have you, I still wouldnt care, bacause, after all, HE wrote the script & HE gave it to me for FREE. & without HIS script, there's no fucking way I woulda gotten to 20/30k that fucking fast..

I have established my own traffic, and I thought CJ Ultra was a tool to "monitor" that traffic.

sorry buddy, but no one is gonna do the dirty work for you for nothing ~ if you want a "monitoring tool" for your traffic, get a free one or pay for it. as easy as that. and yes, if you use lane's script, you owe him a lot - if you don't think so and you don't wanna pay for a script, go fucking write one yourself and you'll see how easy it is to code one.
