One thing that I don't get is how they raised $430 for the system, but then bought the $299 system and kept the rest. I don't know who in their right mind would donate to such an act when there's charities that'd do a lot more with the money if you had the urge to get rid of it.

Ok, I just noticed something strange. The whole idea was to buy the system and smash it in front of people waiting to get theirs, but yet they have no pictures of the people's reactions, the pics are from someone's garage/workshop, that doesn't make sense.

I'd donate to it just to see people freak out. hahaha

People buy what they want with their money, they earned it. You bought 3 X-Boxes. Somebody, somewhere is thinking to themselves "why would this guy buy 3 when 1 would have been just fine, if he really wanted to spend money there are many great charities he could have helped."

The video isn't that great, if they wanted to make a point, they should take the shards of the broken XBox and stab the geeks with it.

I was actually going to do that with my PS2 when I first got it and you couldn't get them anywhere else. I thought it would be cool to make a video of it and put it on the internet, I am sure it would have brought a shitload of traffic to the site I was running back then. I played it a few times first and decided that instead of waiting a month to get another one it would be better to tell people that I actually had one than to smash it for the traffic I might or might not get. :2 cents:
