I bet that is a very low estimate also..... There are some big players that hang here, Heck Lensman himself probabally makes that, then theres many other big guys..and all the rest...I bet it's more like 25 million+

na, if an affiliate company makes over 1 million then they are rolling in it..... I dont think many due

An honest questions merits an honest reply. The truth according to an article in Wired magazine February 2002 is that half of adult sites make less than $20,000/year. Therefore most of the morons on this board fall into that category.

Their is little information on the ones who make more than 20k except for the biggies in the biz, such as Cybererotica who have huge webmaster referral programs and make several million dollars every month.

For most though, this business has become like any other, difficult. It's like a day job for most in the business.

Unlike a few years ago when things were cheaper and it was easier to start of a site, now you really need to invest some money into your project and their is no gaurantee on a return. You have to be strategic and do some good marketing research before getting yourself into it.

There is money to be made. Basically, its better than working at Mickey D's! $ Bling Bling

yes... but if you're patient, you also get some very insightful answers around here..... it's people that blow their cool over a few silly replies that end up getting bombarded with pure nonsense afterwards..... never let them find your button bro.... (especially me)... they'll break the damn thing pushing it. :winkwink:

When I got in roughly 3 years ago, was probably the peak of the biz. Back then, the AVS trick was still hot, you could make a ton of money with 20 sites a day to Age Check and Adult Check... The TGP"s still allowed you to put in a link at the bottom of the page that said, NEXT 20 Pics, Click here, blah blah blah...

Traffic was easy to get, CJ's were the craze, I had a couple... It was good to be a free site webmaster, you got paid good.

Now... You have a ton of competition, tons of fucking rules for link lists, tgps, etc...

I stopped teaching Newbies about 1 and 1/2 years ago at Netpond. Those I did, were probably the last ones who had the proper tools to go and do it and the competition wasn't as fierce as it is now. Couple of Newbies that started off at Netpond come to mind... Foxy, TechChick, Bestat, Horny Devil, and there are a ton more, they now have their own big link lists, content providers, etc...

I don't see that happening anymore. I had a talk with Nickatilynx regarding the situation today. Without a big support group, or corporate backing, the millions made some years ago are virtually unreachable now. To quote Brad Shaw, Nothing coming out now is ground breaking or new, it's just an old idea wrapped in new paper. Okay, it's not word for word, but you get the gist.

Make big money doing this? Not doing TGP's, Links LIsts, AVS, etc... You had to have started at least 3 years ago.

Sorry for the downer, but it's the truth. You can make a comfortable living. But not a great living.

Just curious... Did W.E.G. give you the right to use their trademark(s) and or servicemark(s) "join4free" in your product name and marketing materials?

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't approve of you marketing a script that allows others to compete with them, ESPECIALLY while using their trademarks.

If you do make any money in this industry, stupid moves like this will quickly send you back to the poor house.
