IMPORTANT VISA UPDATE

Epoch has just learned that VISA will no longer allow processing of any transactions for bestiality websites.

This new regulation, which Epoch fully supports, is much like the recent lolita, peda and preteen rule.

At this time we do not know the effective date for this new action. As always we will keep the webmaster community informed as this develops.

As everyone knows, Epoch maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy for content of this nature.

Epoch will receive a formal memo regarding this topic in the next day or so. This memo will outline the guidelines of the new rule, which should include the effective date. Epoch will post all information as soon as it is received.

In regards to recurring transactions, we do not know at this time, however it is safe to assume that no processor will be allowed to settle any transactions (new or recurring) for bestiality websites.

We do not yet know what the penalty will be for a processor who is caught settling bestiality transactions. We can only assume that it will be similar to that of the lolita rule, which is possible termination of their merchant account(s).

Epoch is not affected by this rule as we do not process for any sites with this type of content.
