Just Had 6 Hours of Tattoo Work (No PIcs Yet)
 

Just got back from 6 hours of tattoo work ... started the Japanese background on my sleeve ...whirl winds cherry blossoms and out line for waves around Koi Fish ... it was the first time i ever had anyone do what she called Blood lining ... she drew it out on my Arm and then traced it with no ink ... this made an outline in blood ... then she shaded off of that ... came out nice but i still have about 4 more hours till it's done ... I'll wrap it up after LA ...

I'll post pics tomorrow for those that are interested ... :thumbsup

not really ... I've been into and getting tattoo work for about 10 years now ... I just decided to get a sleeve done over the summer and wanted to get it done fast ... so I've been going every two weeks since the Miami show .. as after the last sitting after LA I'll take a break for awhile ..

Just had the back center of my 1/2 sleeve done this week..."Familia" (old english) this is what is going to tie all my original art together in the back....kids names and stuff....all my own design....

that's nice ... I had my mother's name in old English on the inside of arm ... but i didn't like it .. people always asked who's Jeannie ? I covered it and I'll have something else put on for her .. :thumbsup

see that's what your missing ... when I'm 60 ... the retirement home will be filled with the same guys that are getting tattooed today ... it won't look like the retirement homes do today .. shit ...my kids teachers have tatt's ...(well the young hot ones .. :) ) ... Tattoo's are more common today then say 30 years ago ... I'll be sitting in a home at 80 with guys that have tatts and piercings playing some sick 3D video games talking about how sick we thought the Xbox 360 was back in the day ... :1orglaugh

ya but don't you think you are over doing it? if you regret it in a couple of yours, won't it be impossible or very difficult to remove them?

Just never regret them....mine are all about my family and kids...they will be my kids until the day i die...no changing that...so no reason to regret it....

it's not impossible to remove them but it is expensive and hurts like fuck .. the only ones i ever regretted were the ones i got at 19 in some dudes house ... they looked like shit and I just did them because i like tattoo's and it was what i could afford ... for me it's very much a part of my life style and i enjoy them ... I'm 30 now and have the Money to get them done by good artists and the sense to take the time to pick what i like and not what i can afford .. the way i see it ... it's less about the actual piece of art and more about the time in my life that i got it and i can't ever see regretting the memory ... I also don't have to worry so much about what people think anymore .. I have worked for myself for about 4 years now and should never really have to work for anyone else again ( i know a lot of people say "wait till you have to get a job") the ones I got when i was broke i had covered and planned this sleeve as part of that cover up .. I'll post pics as soon as i can ... and i know it won't be everyones style but it is mine and i think it came out nice ... I'm happy with it .
