Smoking lots of weed definitly have some symptoms like anxiety, paranoya, deformed view of reality and other stuff like that . It's nothing TOO big and obvious, but on the long term, it does have it's effects

Dude it has nothing to do with MAKING you a schytzo ... Lots of schytzos have no symptoms till the 40s etc etc etc. It just makes them appear quickly ...

My father got 2 PhDs ... one of them is in psychology
One of my father's best friend works in a mental instution and treat mostly drug addicts and schytzos
Another of my father best friend works in a drug lab and in a prison testing long term effects of drugs on users. He's a general practitionsist and got a specialisation in neurology and braincells.

I've argued more then enough with them about the effects of drug uses on my friend ... but they know the facts on long term ;)

you probably didn't research a big population of people and see what % of stoners among them are psycho, and what % of non-stoners are...

that's what EXPERTS are supposed to do. now, I'm not saying these specific EXPERTS did a good studying, but you surely didn't, so you can't really argue with them.

I'm fairly certain they don't know the facts on long term, since those are still highly controversial and are still being researched. One large problem still hampering research is that it seems very likely that people with mental illnesses are more inclined to start using drugs in the first place, making it very difficult determining cause and effect.

Have to love the Sun style of making it sound like it is only going to be against British toursits and then filling the majority of the article full of stock statistics about British drug laws rather than filling it with information on their actual headline. Of course, that would have meant they would of had to interview an actual European.

I don't believe the article, the dutch government was talking about this some months ago but from what I heard nothing has come of it yet and almost certainly wont.

You dont have to be a citizen of any country to get an id card do you? You can do that with say a birth cirt and a ss card, or passport?

So, you set up an address there, you take your tourists right to the dmv, or what ever they call it. They all get IDs made with that address and for the weekend, duration of the trip they are from there.

They hand you the IDs at the end of the stay and you can a keep them on file or b destroy them at the travelers request.

Weed smoking tours. All 100% legal, and you are making a nice profit.

All it takes is you buying a decent rental.. Say a B&B.

It's really not big effects ... unless you have something else "running in your blood"... As an example, too much self confidence could be a deformed view of reality ...

But it isn't likely at all that cannabis will be outlawed soon, which is what was being claimed in the piece I quoted, and from the looks of it right now, it seems extremely unlikely that tourists will be banned from buying cannabis.

I'd like to see those african drug dealers banded from the red lights district, they make the red light district seedy and dangerous. Everyone gets hassled by those motherfuckers every 5 seconds.

I think the dutch government should concentrate on getting the problem with hard drugs controlled before even thinking about cutting off a large tourist income and attraction of theirs

Personally, I go to Amsterdam for the canals and the architecture. It's not like it's the only place in the world where you can smoke weed.
