To all of you that have been bitching about too much free porn etc. I have good news.

I talked to the hun and he has agreed that starting tomorrow, he will no longer link to free porn.

Also, I have contacted the owners of the top 200 TGPs in sextracker and all have agreed to do the same.

Expect business to pick up quite a bit this weekend.

No It's all quite true. However, I was wrong about one thing. Only 199 out of the top 200 TGPs have agreed. Sleazydream just won't go for it.

1) don't submit to them.
2) don't trade links with them.
3) don't visit them.

TGP sites are wonderful. They sortive create jobs. How many people are living off their income from Gallery submissions?

Each TGP can support many webmasters & conversion rates are good. If you are against TGP's then run some AVS site or whatever.

I simply persuaded the hun and other TGP owners to make the switch in order to help out our fellow webmasters who feel that free porn is ruining their business.

I never siad I didn't believe that. I am aware of the same fact you posted. I commented on the fact that you stated that conversions are good, which just isn't the case for MOST gallery makers.

As for the statement that TGP's create jobs, you'll have to define "job". If this means making a living off of it, then the number of jobs that TGP's create isn't nearly half of what you probably think it is.

I´ve said it 2 month ago, and I´ll say it again, the best thing that can possibly happen to TGP is transfering all TGP´s into MEMBERSHIP-TGP´s, everything will stay the way it is, only exception would be all listings will be served from within the membersection. it would dramaticaly reduce access to free content. This way both sites, submitters and TGP owners, would bebefit from it.

-submitter would get better quality traffic (all surfers have a credit card, and are willing to pay for porn)
-submitters bandwith will be lower (less cost)
-submitter will possibly get more signups than today, because free porn is not longer easy to be found.

... it all sounds good, as good as TGP2, but it will take almost all webmasters to participate, and this is where the problem starts ...

Funkmaster, you are totally wrong. All that would do is make tgp's like a type of paysite. Their members area would be provided by gallery makers for them for free, and if a surfer paid a fee to access it they would never pay again once inside to see another site??...this is a lame idea at best...

This may be a similiar idea in theory, but its not the same in reality at all.
Actually your concept is kinda like turnning tgp's into AVS sites..But one of the differences is that the tgp surfer is already a cheap free loading scum, so the chances of them paying at the front door is slim to begin with, then to think they would pay again at a site inside, is like slim to none..... AVS traffic is slightly higher in quality, but they as well will not pay for this type of porn..(maybe a little) but not in the long run.

Also the idea can NEVER work without a major participation from basically every tgp, and that is out of the question.

Lastly this is actually a very old Idea, this is going to be the Governments first step in the porn crackdown eventually. To avs protect any and all porn sites at their front door. AVS sites are the ones that are going to love all this...:winkwink:

Damage, you asked if I'am sure??.....The answer is Nope, nothing is for sure in this biz, it's all trial and error, and constant redesigning etc......

But being in the biz 6 years now, and involved in many different things, thats just my opinion (2 cents) of how I see it:)...

... and I could tell you the same story about 100eds of webmasters, that can´t even afford to license their own traffic and have to host their stuff on freehosts. believe it or not, the TGP concept like it is today is a dying concept and things need to be changed, of course this will not happen today or tomorrow, but things will change eventually. and yes, it will take everybody to participate, but as soon as the bandwithbill is higher than the income it will happen.

All TGP should be member sites....YES, YES!!!!! I totally agree.
Please all TGP's start doing this......make it happen!!!

1. The freeloader's of legal age

TGP's as is, are & will continue to make lots of money for everyone.
But if many people are Hell bent on changing it, then I suggest:

Instead of setting up a silly system like (AVS-TGP)
I think TGP owners should really reduce the number of hardcore galleries they post.
Some people show a blowjob gallery and the girls is covered with cum in the last pic....Stuff like that is not smart, the "deed" shouldn't be shown complete.

I think slowly shift away from the really hardcore stuff & just post the "teaser" galleries, and softcore/solo pics.

I think this would help out alot more then charge someone money to view the galleries. The orginal idea of the TGP was to get the surfer horny but not feel 100% satisfied with the free content. We lost track of that & started to show everything the surfer wants. Cut down on the hardcore, otherwise TGP's are fine.
