I just starting working out again to lose weight need some advise
 
I started on Monday My goal is to lose 20lbs

what are the best methods

I cut out all fried foods, fat and suger all i eat is Sushi now.


Is there anyhting i can take like Trim spa to speed things up?

Monitor your rice intake. It's a great way to pack on weight.

Almost anything without Ephedra in it is going to be a waste of money. If you don't like the effects of Ephedra and want to be on the safe side take some CLA. CLA breaks fat down in your body. Its naturally found in cheeses, and meats. Take 3mg a day for effectiveness.

High protein diet. I wouldn't say zero carbs but you definately have to keep them to a minimal.

Don't eat past 8pm. Drink a gallon of water a day. Watch your fruit juice and soda consumption.

Cardio in the morning before you eat. Cardio at least 45min a day...even if you're going at turtle speed. Build up your running speed, not the time. Its important that its always 45min.

Honestly fuck the wierd food choices and cutting crap out. Just watch your total calorie intake daily and excersize some.

Keep in mind that depends 80% on what you eat and 20% on the exercise. Counting calories is a good way to have a control on your weight and you dont need to be hungry all day or just eating sushi, hehe. Fitday.com has a cool program for it. :thumbsup Good luck!

Running/Jogging is the best way to lose weight.

I tried all sorts of shit till an amateur boxer told me this, he was right :)

But I do want to get a little tone as well

Though its not really a pill its more of a powder.
Its pretty damn cheap actually, but its long term costs do catch ya.

I eat like a complete pig and drink gallons of coke a week but I still maintain 190-200lbs and 6%-9% body fat because I take the gym as seriously as a doctors appointment. 6 days a week.

Ever see someone get from 200lbs down to 185lbs in a week without vomitting or starving themselves? Well next time i do it I'll let you know...pretty fucking cool. You have to want it, you have to kick your own ass.

Yea I'm 6 foot 215 now age 35 I don't wantr to end up old and out of shape
I want to be able to enjoy my fruits of labor as long as possible

I feel my best at about 195-200

your best bet is exercise, it really doesnt matter much what you eat as long as you dont over do it if you exercise daily for at least 45 mins, if you are looking to trim down then something like aerobics

Hey thats actually pretty good!

I'm 6'1 and I fluctuate between 190 and 200. When I have to work I will drop to 185 after I shed a bunch of water.

3 days a week in the gym, cardio 3 times a week, 150 grams of protein a day and you'll be solid in 3-4 months.

dont eat after 12 hours of waking up
drink lots of water
1 hour of walking or 30 mins of cardio will do the trick.
small portions
nothing fried
no cakes/sugar stuff

I know people who have lost weight from yes working out and cutting out carbs, but also from those slimming body wraps. they guarantee 10-30 inches overall on the first body wrap. Basically they just wrap you up in these bandages that are soaked in mineral solution and you work out for an hour and when they take it off you will have lost some inches on your arms, waist, face and chest. The mineral solution just breaks down the waste in your body. Worked for my friends they look much more toned. Good Luck to you though!

i've been working on this for about two years. i was similar shape as you Roger (6'2", 225 lbs), started hiking every day, cut out all soda, drink lots of water, and think about what i eat (fish, chicken, veggies and always looking for a low fat option). i'm around 195 lbs now, and feel about 100 times better.

Set up a regimen for 20 sets per body part, old school Lee Priest stylie and lotsa whey protein before and after workouts. YOu'll get nice and cut.
