OK, first of all, I'd like to thank ANYwebcam.com for their MAIN sponsorship. We have all kinds of sponsorships available including up to 2 more main sponsors and a bunch of small and mid size ones.

I've had my doubts on whether this Players Ball would actually happen because it's during CES week and also on a weekend, which means clubs want a ton of money, so it's been a very tough process.

Announcement #1 - We've decided to change the night of this event, the new date will be January 6th, Friday night. Originally it was going to be on Saturday, January 7th.

Announcement #2 - NEW VENUE - It's just about a done deal, we have a verbal agreement which will be finalized any day, looks like Club Rio is the best option for us. Not only can it hold the maximum number of people (about 2000), it's also set up so everyone can see the live artists performing and it has very nice VIP areas for our sponsors. Huge thanks to JC and XXXJay from OCCash.com with helping me on the scouting process, their contact was the key.

Those are the 2 biggest announcements. Now the other questions you will all have will be, who's performing.

At the moment we're waiting to see if Ludacris takes our offer, if he's going to over price himself, we'll have to move on to some other very good options. We also have the #1 Mixtape DJ, Clinton Sparks. He did Eminems Anger Management tour mixtape, he's the hottest DJ out. And of course we have DJ Evan as always to hold it down the rest of the night and during the Big Woody Awards (sponsored by PussyCash.com)

Darren, I think Club Rio is a great location for The Player's Ball. You always do an awesome job with this event and I am sure this year will be no exeption.

We had other options, but we didn't want to even have a chance of people waiting outside in the cold.

And I will also mention, we really need some people to step up and throw down some money on a sponsorship. Not only will it be promoted super heavy starting today, it's a super deal to get get your company seen and entertain clients and potential clients.

Artists are expensive and so are venues. So step up, step back or step to the choir stand!

Also, I'm gonna work out a room rate for our players at the Rio.

So if you don't have a room or are looking for one, I'll make another thread about rooms and rates once we lock in a great deal for our peeps.

NIN and Kid Rock wouldn't take dates off their normal tour schedules. And if they did, it would have been at least $150k to $250k, which is way more then we have to spend.

I'm crossing my fingers for Ludacris, but if he doesn't happen I have some pretty hot current artists in mind that will rock the crowd too.

It looks to be Pimp and Ho again this year, but I might decide to change it up to a Pajama party, not sure yet. Depends on if we get Luda. If we get him, we'll keep it pimp and ho.
