damn right I am.... I'll rescue a dog from the shelter 100% of the time versus buying from some breeder. There are enough animals in the world without homes already. No need to encourage more.

Nice... my Shadow had a blue tongue with a few pink spots. Smooth chow mix with lab and shepard. I miss her.... need a new chow. Such a great breed.

i've had purebreds.... paid nearly $3k for a purebred dobie.


but as I've grown older, I can't bring myself to pay for someone to continue breeding, when the shelter is full. Those dogs need homes too.

All adopted or rescued. The male is nearly 150 pounds and one of the most gentle dogs I've ever known. He's trained to lay on his back and not get up with children.
