If you think major news networks don't relish the opportunity to run with a sensationalist headline even if it implies something different that the substance of the article, then you're just being ignorant. They catch attention from flashy headlines in the same way that webmasters don't use bland text on hyperlinks. But to repeat their headlines after you've read the article that contradicts it just displays ignorance.
