The "baby" Aston is out!

This is by far one of the most beautiful cars in the world, bar none...

http://www.topgear.com/content/timet...rt/12/main.jpg

droooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllll

It uses a V8 4.3, 380bhp making it much more affordable than the DB9

Beauty, class, style all put together in a perfect way :thumbsup

djroof 09-24-2005 03:08 PM

Rui 09-24-2005 03:16 PM

Here (very high auto-taxes) this puppy costs:
150.000? EUR

Meaning that at least in other countrys with better auto-taxes you can expect it to go for around 100k EUR IMHO...

Dirty F 09-24-2005 03:40 PM

Niiiiiiiiiice! I dont understand why people buy ugly ass porsche's and lambo's while you can buy a car like this.

wedouglas 09-24-2005 03:49 PM

All Astons are hot. I love them in black with red interiors.

[illnet]-Tracie 09-24-2005 03:53 PM

Porsches are technically superior, but don't look as good

Young 09-24-2005 04:00 PM

More boring shit from Aston Martin. A beast in straight lines, and a snail around corners. Body roll galore....

The back half of the car looks like a Infiniti G35, the front is uninspiring.. Definately doesn't look like its worth the money. I'd pick a Bentley GT Coupe over this in a hearbeat.

It's not supossed to be a killer race car. They don't make cars to compete with lambo or ferrari performance wise. They cater to their own niche.

It's fairly simple..Most people that have the income to afford an Aston, will have several other cars. They want vehicles that will suit their various needs.
If I were going to a business meeting,I'd take the Aston. If I were going to enjoy a day of spirited driving it would be the Porsche or the Lambo.

And since Jay Leno sets any standarts as to what car is good or not? FFS ...damm you are killing me here with your wise-ass remarks.

You don't know shit about Aston Martin, that "straight line" comment was prove enough...

newsflash: its the american cars that have a rep of not doing corners not British ones... :1orglaugh

isn't rolls-royce a british car?

If you want to see Leno get really enthusiastic, just ask him for a ride in his 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II with its 1,000-horsepower Merlin V-12.

I should have stressed new performance British models (not brands). He has no Jaguars, Aston Martins..etc..he thinks they are junk.

I really don't see what is so funny about my comments. The Aston Martin is constantly out performed by German and Italian cars. Just check every major Automobile publication.

America Cars dont perform (with the exception of the Corvette and the Saleen S7)...whats your point?

Are we going to turn this into a UK vs. America thing now? :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh Did I miss where I mentioned American cars?

This poor chap has an opinion. British engineering = crap

pornguy 09-24-2005 05:12 PM

Its a nice looking car. But I usually want something that seats a few more, so that you can pick up more bitches as you ride.

At $110,000, the Vantage challenges the king of the hill, Porsche's 911. To see how the new Aston compared, we headed over to Italy, for three days driving through the verdant hills of Tuscany. The narrow roads, with challenging turns and fast straights, provided a tough trial for the new sports car, yet as we grudgingly handed back the keys, we had to conclude that Aston had designed one of the best sports cars ever to hit the road.

The rear quarter and the pillars look like they were lifted off the G35 (infinit's version of a 350z). I have a G35...nice car for 37k....but am I going to drop 150k plus on a car that lacks originality....that car is far from a head turner

Vitasoy 09-24-2005 06:37 PM

Sweet looking ride. Very clean and sleak looking

acctman 09-24-2005 07:08 PM

380bhp my "automatic" supercharged bmw can keep up with that

Spunky 09-24-2005 07:25 PM

tony286 09-24-2005 08:08 PM
