I can't wait to go, I had to choose between that show and amsterdam and I didnt even have to think about it. Zebra icq ed me and told me the its less than 8 days away.

I know I may get blasted for saying this but if you ask the webmasters that have gone you are never the same after.

I met guys like Joe and Mike from smashbucks before they were mad players got to chill with girls like tiffant paris, punky barbie and some Sammy from Sammy Smack just to name a few. I got to find out what makes People tick is a cozy mexican village where you are treated like a king. There is no line ups, no cristal, no vip's just good people and the biz you come out with is amazing.

I had such a good time that this will mark my thrid time as a Yp'er.

It's to late to register now it's a at capacity but I would highly recomend checking it out. I know there may be some bigger players in Amsterdam and by no means can you compare the two. But just something to think about.

I'm disapointed in you Derek..... You failed to mention me in your thread, being as the first time you met me was at YP. I remember the exact moment I first met you - you were taking a leak.

My first YP was in 2002 with Steve Lightspeed and Tanker. I had this fear of going what I considered a third world country. But I had a blast. I've been to every YP since then, a number of lobster lunches during Cybernet Expo shows, and even a secret YP summit with only a handful of people in 2003. I'm now to the point where I have no fear of driving straight into Mexico myself; The last time on my motorcycle.

I'll be there again this year and wouldn't miss it for the world. In fact, I put in for vacation time the moment the YP dates are announced and I pay my own way to make sure I get to go every year.

I am sooooo looking forward to this trip!

Wow, Rochard i remember meeting you as well. YOur comments made it a shitty dive bar in La Salina about reps not knowing how to make a site or know the basics of photoshop, dreamwiever etc stuck with me to this day and have motivated me to keep learnin and trying hard. I know you didnt mean it in a bad way but its always the little things that stick with me.

I think I topped out at about 230lbs or even 240lbs at that point. I'm back down to a healthy 195lbs.

Damn it I wish I had been there for those comments. Since I wasn't ... Oh Richard, Richard, Richard ... While most don't know the basics of PS and Dreamweaver you meet a few who do ... and the better ones don't even use Dreamweaver, the use HTML and do it by hand! That's right. ; )

YP is one of my favorite shows ... the first year I went I got shacked up with the LightSpeed crew, we had a water war, Steve and I cuddled in a Craftmatic Adjustable bed, and Jay yelled at them to shut up! Haha.

Oh and I made Steve puke on himself!

The second time I went I got a banana daquiri with Richard...that was fun. Then I had my bachelorette party and was pulled out of the water by the Mexican Police ... then I got hitched.

Great times in Mexico.

I Love YP!! It's a funny thing living in San Diego because we always end up having an extended show at our place when everyone returns from Mexico and doesn't have anywhere to stay. I have made some great friends that way in the intimate setting of me trying to fit waaaay too many people at my house. It's like an awesome mini-YP, San Diego style. I think that we'll pop down for a day or two this year. I couldn't stand to miss the lobster lunch! :)
