Keyser, I am not sure you got my post. I can not remove anybody. I can terminate webmasters for breaking our TOS.

This one looks like the same guy I got spammed from.
Links build the same way leads to a half page add.

Let me guess crockett the other spam you get are somthing like this:
[#cc596] I fill mother
[#364] Mother promised to show it

I will not terminate any affiliate unless I have 100% valid proof of an affiliate breaking our TOS. It's just so simple.

But hey Crocket, you're increasing your post count so it's all good :)

Michael O 08-29-2005 07:00 AM

Yep same guy spamming this is the link from one of my old spams:

You contacted me via ICQ some months back after Rand contacted you about the spam sent to ePassporte mails.
Made sure I got removed from the list because I was one of the people making most noise about this.

Because I know he's not breaking our TOS. :) It's compliant mail, get over it guys. You can't terminate guys who mail by the rules. Crocket knows the same. He's just pissed off for whatever reason.

If you want us to take care of things, email support. It's staffed 7 days a week, even on weekends. However, if you just wanna run threads & post, please, go for it. I understand postcounts can convert into sig revenue :)

I tried to contact you but never got a response.
Then you contacted me via ICQ to get it resolved after I got ePassporte involved with it. You and dollarmachine are the reason why ePassporte had to change the way mails are handled to ePassporte members mail accounts.

You told me:
"This guy buys up every list he can get his hands on. I'll make sure you get off the list"

I only used my ePassporte mail to enter in the payout field at sponsors how is that opting in?

I even tried the opt out field in the mails and I continued to recieve the mails how is that complient?

Yea I'm sure I need to start damn drama thread to up my post count.. I think you know the guy is spamming as you probably know the amount of sales he is sending. Which aren't going to come from opt in lists.

My guess is that when he gets termed he will have a new account the same day, and I'll be getting e-mails from his next domain.

So I'll just wait until his next batch of his spam comes in and post up some screen shots of my e-mail box and his headers and so on.. just to get my post count up a few more as of course I'd like to hit an average of 10 posts a day, then I'll be a high roller..

Harmon 08-29-2005 07:11 AM

What fucking bullshit...

no it's not compliant.. Being compliant means using a double opt in list not just "sexually explicit" mailing headers

I think they have 72 hours to remove you according to the rules. Keyser you make it sound like if you didn't contact us you would have never been removed. I don't think that's true.

If his emails are compliant there will be no termination. Let me know if the remove process doesn't opt you out within 72 hours, I believe that's the threshold set forth.

I tested this affliate's out mechanism myself when Keyser contacted us like 8 months ago or so. I found it to be working.

Michael O 08-29-2005 07:23 AM

David what is your ICQ?

Michael O 08-29-2005 07:23 AM

Or just the first 4-5 numbers if you don't want to post it.

crockett 08-29-2005 07:24 AM

BTW I'm not hamming on the guy because he's a spammer.. Hell I'd love to spam myself I know the money that's in it. However I decided to play by the rules. If I get it in my normal e-mail account I don't give it much thought, I just write a new rule to hopefully weed them out.

However I make it a very strict rule that I only use my webmaster account for business. I do not mix it with anything but business. I don't like having to look through a 100 e-mails a day trying to figure out which are business related and which are spam.

I have kept that account spam free for about a year now until the last few months, that this dick head has been hammering my account. So if I can't out the spammer I'll out the programs that accept his traffic. Simple as that.

Odin88 08-29-2005 07:24 AM

Where is the real drama? You got an email you didn't like? I get dozens a day. Stop being a pussy and take some responsibility yourself. Either delete it or set up some filters to block it.

Michael O 08-29-2005 07:25 AM

never mind I found it.

I don't have access to the old ICQ you had anymore, here's the new one. Hit me up 454093.

Buying up e-mail lists don't make him compliant.. Show me where I opted in for his spam on my webmaster e-mail account..

I understand that Crockett. Since you said you find many programs' mail in your inbox, as an immediate remedy you could try filtering out the "SEXUALLY EXPLICIT:" subject lines very easily in your Outlook/Thunderbird settings. That should already take care of most of the problem.
