Best weapon in a street fight?
 

I'll go with good old fashioned brass knuckles. Virtually impossible to drop / become disarmed, easily concealed. If someone pulls a knife, you could literally hit the knife with your fist and the person may even drop it. Easily disguised as a belt buckle (that's how I got mine). No damage/fatigue to your hand. A hit to a person's face is pretty much an automatic broken nose. I'm talking muggings, here, I had a close call last weekend in Brooklyn, and since I flew up I had nothing on me. Luckily, there were enough people around so the dudes thought twice. I don't feel safe anymore without some kind of a weapon on me.

Been meaning to buy a bat and hunting knife to carry in my trunk.
IMO There's really not much you can do to stop a determined criminal.

Yeah, and if they have a gun you're pretty much shit out of luck. Someone pulls a gun on me, I'd zigzag run away like a little pussy. Your ego will heal alot faster than a bullet wound.

If they carry a gun, bring a grenade. that'll scare them all.

One of the most convenient weapons thats usually totally overlooked is a car antenna. If you are anywhere near a vehicle and get attacked, rip off the antenna and start whipping the shit out of them.

It may not be the best weapon, but if you got nothing else handy...

A teaser... effective and you don't kill or seriously hurt the guy. That might bite you in the ass if you know what I mean ;)

by far the best weapon to have in a fight is intelligence. Only a complete drongo ever wants to fight. So either talk your way out of it or run. Both very intelligent things to do.

Fighting proves nothing apart from a complete lack of intelligence.

Just being PREPARED to kick the shit out of someone is enough for them to back off 99% of the time.

That said, I do agree with the people who say "use your brain", but still think there are times when you need to stand up for yourself.

Tasers are great. I mean cmon they are so small todays you can just whip it out and shock them till they drop then kick em in the head a couple times and leave.

If someone pulls a knife out on you in fl you can legally shoot them dead.
So that's waht I would do.

A can of pepper spray & a knife or taser.

Heres why.....

The pepper spray renders them blind instantly, or atleast severly hinders their sight...leaving you free to use your knife/taser however you wish.

This is true, however if someone pulls out a can of pepper spray/mace, its not considered a deadly weapon.....therefor shooting them would get you 10 years for atleast 1st degree manslaughter.

People think pepper sprays for chicks...but it comes in REAL handy.

I got pulled with a aluminum softball bat, i just explained it away as company softball.

Heres the deal though, if someone wants to kick your ass...& they have no weapon....& you're not a woman....you pretty much HAVE to defend yourself with your hands...otherwise you're going to be in a legal grey area, especially with a bat.

So either carry a gun (just drawing it will stop someone), pepper spray (perfectly effective & non lethal), or carry nothing at all.

Plus you can take mace/pepper into a bar, resteraunt etc., where as a gun canno't be taken into an establishment that serves liquir. Or a church, or a bank etc.
