I'm not buying the "summer slow down" myth! Sales have been steadily growing all summer and we nearly broke our all time weekly sales record for NaughtyAllie this past week. No summer slow down here! :)

Summer Slow down is a myth created by the lazy who take the nice summer days off to go to the mall and the beach. You guys work everyday and don't see a slow down. Imagine that.

I don't think the summer slowdown is a myth, but I do believe that it is more like what ProjectNakid says: niche oriented, who your customers are, etc. That makes sense to me.

I can tell you, as a webhost (I have been in the adult hosting business for 5 years), I have seen the summer slow down in the graphs year in and year out and it does exist, though maybe not for every niche, sponsor or webmaster.

Yeah, that's kinda my take on the "summer slow down". If you're out fucking around every day all summer then yeah, you'll see a slow down in your sales.

its all relative to what normal is
some people can only go up so slowdown is no such thing, some people do well enough that they notice when things slow down. its all relative ...so when someone says they are h aving a great week it really means nothing except to them since you dont know whata normal week is or what great is to them :)
