What are your opinions on trials on solo sites?
 

i'm trying it out, 1.95 a 1 day trial, recurring at 29.95

monthly membership option for 24.95..

what do you guys think? i've been told by some that a trial on a solo site is a nono.. but equal amount of people telling me its a good thing....

Trials suck.

As for me, i think that trials are very bad idea for non-nude sites, but not very bad for totally nude... IMHO.

Are you making good cash on your previous client list? cross sales? upsales? You get more clients but in a single girl site retention is low.

Just my 2 cents and I do not own one.

Consider your sources.

Who is telling you trials are good? Who is telling you trials are bad?

Base your decision off of that.

Though I think 1-day trials on one solo site is a huge mistake. If you had a network of sites, ok maybe, but you only have one. The surfer will download all of the content within minutes.

Maybe i'm jumping the gun.... i'm just paranoid because a couple good listings and some paid traffic didn't yeild any sales...

yes thats right, no sales..i'm more honest then i should be... thats why i'm looking for beta testers and not open to all affiliates :)

but.. is my tour okay? is it normal for paid listings to not yeild sales right away with a new site? will people bookmark the site and signup later maybe? is my monthly price too high??

i tell all my affiliates the truth before they promote, and i help them personally get set up... i'm new to this and everyone knows that... :)

Picture this. How much content do you have in there NOW? How often are you promising your members to update and how hot/varied is your content? If YOU took a look inside, would you rebill?

I think the only trial even conceivable on an amateur site (especially if you aren't offering special offers on the cancellation to multiple other single girl sites for the price of one etc) is a limited trial membership.

I am yet to hear results good or bad from anyone about solo girl sites and limited trial memberships. AS a surfer limited trials seriously piss me off, ran into one last night when I was surfing for the first time in AGES...

However if it was stated up front the trial was 'limited access' on the join page, and the limited trial price was appropriate ($1.00 I would guess) I could see it working well if you treat it properly.

Signup ratios could feasibly be lower than a straight pay per month site which puts you in between straight up paid monthlys and trial sites.. But you have to keep in mind, you are selling them twice - Literally!

I'll be honest with you, regular trials aren't worth it - These two are the same

One Month Signups with a 1:1500 signup ratio
Three Day $4.95 Trial with a 1:700 signup ratio

You just have to find other things to tweak besides the trials ;)

Trials on a single site are bad. If you do it, do something semi valuable.

$9.95 for a 7 day trail.

Why? Because the surfer is literally going to download your entire site. So get paid... \

Trails work for Nasty Dollars because you cannot possibly download all of the content in 3 days... Unless you are going to cue shit for 72 hours straight... Oddly enough, 3day weekends are the most often bought and cancelled with 100% downloaded...

Wow...no sales REALLY suprises me. When I put up my first solo girl site, the girl was about the same level of hottness as Julia, and we probably got 50 sales our first week. If I were you, I would really start spamming the surfer forums with pics of your girl. I dont think you need to change your tour at all either. The design is clean and the photos are nice and sharp.

I would STRONGLY recommend opening up to all affiliates. You need as many people getting your site out there as possible. Make some hosted galleries are submit them to a few places yourself even. Because Julia is a new girl, this should be one of your most profitable times. People love a new face.

think it would be smart to purchase nats right away??? because paycom stats are horrid and i don't think any affiliate would want to promote a program with paycom stats

I think adding Paycom as a billing option in a cascade is going to make you more money. But it is like using solar panels on the roof of a home, it will make you money, but cost you more upfront. If you can afford to buy NATS and add Paycom to the cascade, you will be making more money and paying this venture off faster in the medium to long run.

i do better with www.lovelyvanessa.com since i killed the trial option. i do the same amount in sales, but now each at 19.95 (which i think is enough for a single girl site without liveshows). and the amount of people who do 39.95 non-recurring memberships seriuosly increased since then. :2 cents:

Only thing I saw that FLEW out at me as somehting I would change was the top right pic on the first page - That pic doesn't do her justice :) It's amazing how a slight angle change can alter the way a woman looks soooo much. Since you are trying to THROW SEX APPEAL in the surfers face on the first page they see loaded that pic should have the same raw sex appeal the other 'sexier' pictures of her on the tour do...

Maybe it's just me?? But for a single girl model picture I am sure oyu have a better one that would fit up there ... Some skin, maybe a underwear shot from the side with her tugging at her panties and back arched the right way etc... Sure you can find one :) And like I said, may just be me on that one pic
