I hear ya! I'm getting ready to roll outta here as well. I'm right by the water in Victoria, and it's windy as hell out right now.

DateDoc 06-14-2005 09:01 PM

Didn't even feel it here in the Bay Area.

I think it's impossible for any tsunami created by this event to hit Newport beach. We're safe Corey.

That tip of LA/San Pedro should block anything that would be coming towards us.

BlueWire 06-14-2005 09:03 PM

I just heard the sunami expert on Northwest Cable News.....SOME AREAS MAY SEE AN INCREASE IN WATER LEVELS AS MUCH AS................................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ................6 inches :warning :warning :warning :helpme :helpme

I dont know about you but i'm gettin' the fuck out of seattle :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

The Asian tsunami hit Africa. To think you are safe in low lying SOCal isn't wise.

I felt the shake but I thought it was an aftershock.
That makes THREE MAJOR QUAKES in the Pacific coast region in 3 fucking days!!!

Chile, Rat Island in the Aleutian Islands in Alaska and now off coast of Cali. Less than 6 months after the big tsunami quake??? No dudes, this shit don't bode well.
