Happy Birthday Halcyon!!!

http://photos11.flickr.com/16094056_f24a0bf6a6_m.jpg last night we had dinner at a very nice restaurant with Halcyon's family (mom, dad, brother and sister-in-law) and before this occured at 8 o'clock just down the street i felt i had to get a few different gifts in order for my beautiful angel man. i locked myself in the spare bedroom with things like wrapping paper,scissors, glue sticks, tape, etc. and the things i was wrapping, of course. everything involved in the actual wrapping was pink. i don't know why, but i've always taken more pleasure and care in the preparation of a gift than the actual gift itself. i do have a few yet left to give wherein the gift IS the prepared 'wrapping', if you will. but for tonight, one special silver star shaped necklace with "Halcyon" engraved on the front with the gemini symbol (a man and woman in this case) and on the back "Tassy's Daddy." i cried profusely as i gave it to him just in time to take a quick shower and put on a face since i'd been playing with preparing these things...the necklace came with a old key and an old silver ring with hearts on it i've had forever tied together with bright pink string ~ a symbol of him having the key my heart. the necklace i put on the same bright pink type of string and in a satiny red bag it came shipped in, inside a black velvet bag i had, inside a white satiny bag with glass beads, glitter, and white sparkly opalescent ribbon shreds. like i said, something about the details. then there were all the framed pictures of Halcyon and grandpa caleb and other various people who've been around for tuesday's at grandpa's and a couple very amusing pics of Halcyon and his bro i put in frames that matched. all of this with more pinkg wrapping i won't bore you with MORE details about. onto the pics, before dinner we snapped a few, i wish corporate america had had men in suits with pink hair, i might have actually stayed. wait, i wouldn't want that. but you get my point, he's gorgeous: http://photos12.flickr.com/16043293_99dd221cf4_m.jpg (click the pic for more pics, silly) happy birthday baby, i love you! |

This is what I wrote early this morning about my special day... It?s hard to remember what I was doing a year ago. My brother was about to get married. He and Sis-in-law were moving out. My rent would double, while my work situation was in flux. I made a conscious choice to stay in this expensive sanctuary apartment? To work less? And concentrate on enjoying the NOW rather than build a career or a nest egg. I would allow myself to incubate. Spend more time with Grandpa. Buy a Mac and learn to make a DVD. When I made the choice to stay in this ocean palace, I was trying to embrace my ?float more, steer less? philosophy. Float more, steer less. Love more, fear less. Some time later? In October, I believe? The cosmic stream floated Tassy to me. My pink angel. And the flow has been powerful since that moment. I fell in love with her immediately. She was out of a dream. She moved in on Dec 26th. I?m now working on the projects of my dreams with Tassy. Web and Video projects that I?ve imagined for years. I?m not doing them for the money, but they could end up supporting us. This year i officially crossed the line into on-screen pornography 100%. But it doesn?t feel like it. I have to remind myself that this is outlaw territory. I feel like the path we?re on is so illuminated with light?the responses we get from members of our site?it reminds me of the best days of cockybastard.com?or the best days of citizenX.com When people were feeling something special in my art. When people were really being touched and being affected in positive ways. I feel that happening again. Having Tassy as a collaborator has allowed me to explore a realm of expression I?ve only dreamed of. It is an amazing thing to live and work and create while constantly immersed in love. So, while I am definitely swirling in the erotic? it feels more like being in the flow. Where LOVE is the goal, and SEX is merely the tool to see it. So as I enter this next orbit around the sun, I can feel a different gravity.
