Fucking WAY TO GO CCBill!!!! And a challenge to Epoch!!

http://www.avn.com/articles/227053.html

No more violent content or watersports! I love the "no more violent content" part in particular. Fuck that shit!

Epoch, do you have the balls to do this too? I certainly hope so!

Funny, I thought blood and torture were already a no-no.

"Also of questionable consequence is a March 23 subpoena obtained by AVNOnline.com filed by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Missouri, which reveals that the government is looking for similar content, which includes fisting, urination and torture."

Good to see fisting in the obscenity mix, wtf year is this, 1996???

Donny 05-17-2005 10:43 PM

Get rid of the crap and life will be better.

I guess some of the videos that were posted earlier won't be on sites processed by CCBill. :)

SmokeyTheBear 05-17-2005 10:44 PM

Kind of a vague request..

Personally i dont want to see either of those topics BUT my opinion is irrelevant..

Basically ccbill is saying that BEFORE the "line" was "the law" now it seems they are making a personal "line".

"violent content" and "watersports" can cover alot of areas. i.e. "squirting" "cumshots" "rough sex" etc etc

Thats a rather hard request to live up to because each site will be up to ccbill's discrection ( as it always was ) to allow or dissallow.

In a nutshell it would be rather hard to say WEBSITE A will be allowed by epoch but not by ccbill. Its easy to say , if its not legal it wont be allowed , its harder when the "line" is fuzzy..

Doctor Dre 05-17-2005 10:46 PM

I don't think ccbill would do that for no reason ... I don't think they want to censor the websites ... They wouldn't hurt their business . But with everything going on arround this business this might be a good move .

You're right, it's a slippery slope.

What one person considers "violent" another considers BDSM or some other totally acceptable fetish.

As long as consenting adults are involved, what's the problem that people have with it?

Some of you don't want a credit card to process for an adult site because you don't like that specific fetish?

How about all of the people that don't think credit cards should be processing for porn at all. Should they get their way too?

RRRED 05-17-2005 10:48 PM

I'd love to see some of the shit produced by meatcash and maxhardcore go bye bye.

I heard the processors wanted to stear away from that back fringe stuff more and more.

You can say that the content that will no longer be allowed by CCBill is making all of our lives more difficult because those who produce it are making the rest of us look bad. We're all lumped together in the eyes of many. Policing ourselves is a damned good idea.

CCBill is doing this for legal reasons. Don't make it look like a personal moral decision. Epoch might follow but it won't have anything to do with "balls".

We are all lumped together anyway when it comes to the religious zealots that are now the policy makers.

It doesn't matter what content you are making, those nutjobs would tell you that seeing a woman naked from the waist down is enough to "turn their stomach" and would still demand it be outlawed.

of the two, one of them has a long and sordid history of processing everything under the sun and explaining it away (ynot and early netpond)... one does not.

don' t be a putz.

mlove 05-17-2005 11:07 PM

I don't think it's right for them to ban anything that isn't already banned by law.

The problem is donny, that we've always been lumped in with the worst bad apple.

That's child porn.

Every article google news alert sends me uses child porn and regular porn interchangeably.

in the eyes of the christian public the fisting sites arent even close to our biggest problems. They see your sites on the same level as the rest of it.

Benjamin franklin once said "He who would trade liberty for some temporary security, deserves neither liberty nor security".

When we police ourselves, when we sacrafice our own liberties to look like 'good guys' to big government they dont give a shit. All we're doing is sacraficing liberties.

I dont like extreme porn any more than you do, but to say its a good idea to start giving up the right to produce and sell it to set a good example is just plain wrong.

No offense mate :) and I Love your sites and models.

Yes and alot of right wing christian groups would love to see your nude site go bye bye as well......

It's acting plain and simple. The girls know what they signed up for. Should all R movies be banned too???

jesus christ the comments some people make

brand0n 05-17-2005 11:12 PM

big whoop

do you honestly think they are going to stop processing for any sites all ready in the line up?

do you also think they will have a TEAM of people going back through peoples sites lookin for changes?

this changes notta

xclusive 05-17-2005 11:16 PM

They are just protecting thier business nothing wrong with that you would do the same thing.

Dirty Dane 05-17-2005 11:24 PM

"person-to-person exchanges of bodily fluids" = sex with condom only?

next thing is cumshots, spitting etc... they just take one minority niche at the time, bit for bit, where people dont have enough influence.
And its not gonna dissappear, its just raise new markets outside US, and some others will make more money on it. And it hurt the industry as hole, because now the surfers has to pay more for those niches, and cant afford other "legit" sites. Its that simple.

at what point will the line be drawn with violent content? Even normal sex can get aggressive at times. What about ass slapping or hair pulling. I know tons of chicks who like that. My point is, is that violent content cant just be assigned a lable. There has to be levels of it. I would say that 90% of the studios out there, the good studios, have a face fucking line, or a line where girls are on the receiving end of some kind of violence, and this content is strewn on practially every avs and program that doesnt shoot its own content. Will ccbill stop processing these sites? maybe, who knows. Point is, you start with this, we will all be watching solo masturbation crap in a few years.
Just an aside... I see this as one of the after effects of I Bill. If webmasters still had I bill as a choice ccbill would most likley be more reluctant to take this stance.

Come on Donovan... Do you really think that because a 3rd party processor bumps large extreme producers such as Meat Cash or Max Hardcore (hypothetically), they won't be able to switch over to a merchant account? Everybody loves ccbill and it is one of the best 3rd party solutions out there. As the phrasing stands, they are disallowing any new extreme sites processing. Nowhere do they state that current sites being processed will be dropped.

Whether or not they keep sites around that have processed with them previously is yet to be determined.

The problem with this business is that so many people think that once a roadblock is placed, people will just lie down and die. This is a business, and the real business men and women will find a way to carry on business as usual.

Love extreme content or hate it, we're just all fighting against each other. Do you for 1 second think that once us extreme guys are gone, that they right wing will turn away their focus from adult? Don't bet on it. Once the most extreme is gone, a softer version takes the crown, and the line follows itself down.

CDSmith 05-18-2005 12:04 AM

GREAT idea. Violent content must go, whether it's fantasy or reality makes no difference, right? All of it needs to go, and..... why should we stop there? I mean there is plenty of violence on TV too right? Someone somewhere is making money from it, so it needs to go too. No more movies with swordplay, hackings, stabbings, fist-fights, no more shows depicting murder. Why should violence be allowed on TV and at the movies but not on the internet, right?

There will be no Kill Bill Volume 3.
CSI - gone. The subject of murder has no place in our homes, right?
LOTR? Forget it... far too violent.
Fight Club? The name alone is obscene under this new light. Gone
Ever watch "Kink" on the showcase channel late at night? People are getting whipped, tied up, that whole fetish scene has to GO because it's violent I tell you, VIOLENT!
How many movies and TV series can we think of that we can put on the chopping block?

Ain't censorship grand?

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 05-18-2005 12:12 AM

Official word is that ?CCBill is no longer accepting new sites which contain or market person-to-person exchanges of bodily fluids. This mainly pertains to urine/urination, blood, or overall violent scenes or depictions.?

SleazyDream 05-18-2005 12:12 AM

it's a good stance but reality is the question remains - where's the LINE?

the stance does allow ccbill to remove some of the more severe content though and that's probally a good thing.

Turf 05-18-2005 12:14 AM

some people are not going to be happy before the only thing being available on the net is shitty, borring mainstream vanilla porn...

i dont enjoy the niches being "banned" by ccbill but i respect other peoples need/wanting to see it.. and as long as we are talking about consenting adult models.. who gets harmed ?

oh well, another step towards the idealistic rightwing born again christian USA.. glad to see that someone likes to see personall freedom of choise being limited again..

Obscenity is banned by law, which is probably what they're trying to avoid being associated with.

The big question is whether violent content or watersports are obscene.

How long do you think their own merchant account would stick around? If CCBill, who specializes in adult, is turning down extreme account what makes you think Visa, who hates adult, is going to allow them a merchant account that stays around for long?

The Other Steve 05-18-2005 12:30 AM

And don't forget that Interracial is obscene too - so Donny are you going to clap and cheer when that gets banned?

You need to get in touch with reality - Visa doesn't hate porn as long as individual sites are selling so much of it that it makes Visa a lot of money.

As long as your bottom line is big enough and your making thousands of sales a day Visa will let you have a merchant account.

You don't see those people here Donny but they are out there and Visa isn't rocking their boat for a second. :2 cents:

Out of the trillions that visa processes per year, exactly how much of it do you think comes from extreme adult? Visa doesn't like adult. If we were gone they wouldn't miss us much. This has been discussed a lot here.

BTW: just how many adult sites do you think there are that make thousands of sales a day? I'd love to know the names you think are doing this...

Just name them. I doubt you know anyone that does thousands of sales a day. I know some very large programs here on this board and they don't do thousands of sales a day.

Why would anyone cheer on any censorship that involves only consenting adults???

This i agree with, nevertheless extreme adult . When you look at it in
a large scale including everything Visa processes , The Adult industry
in general is still a small % of transactions for them.

It's bullshit to have to accept absolutely everything in the name of freedom. I particularly hate the violent bullshit. There is nothing cool about that. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD.

CCBill is simply refusing to process for certain things. Whatever their reasons, I applaud the decision.

Why don't you move to China then, that way you can have the government tell you what to like and what not to like. You're a hypocritical fuck, you come on here and with this holier than thou attitude thinking that you're some saint pornographer. You thought it was bad when Shanes World came to Chino and got press, now you're glad CCBill won't be processing for extreme sites? You're a fucking douchebag. :321GFY
