Program owners that buy sigs...quality control question
 

Those of you that buy sigs - do you activly watch what the people flying your sigs are saying in threads?

This isn't targetted at one person it is just something I have wondered. If you have a program with gay sites do you care what the person is saying about gay people or the same thing with BBW sites and BBWs? Beyond that do you care if they are racially abusive, etc?

isn't it smart to look after your investments?

i would think the more posts they make, the better... giving the sig more exposures.

but - if for example - your program has gay sites as part of the portfolio and your sig whores are being homophobic, don't you think that is bad exposure?

they are either clueless as to whos sigs they buy, or dont have time to monitor it, or dont care

why would you hire a homophobe to fly a gay sig in the first place?

well, I am not talking abut an obvious gay sig (or bbw or ethnic site, etc) but rather a bigger program that has those sites as part of their program.

yeah, that pretty much covers most possibilities

well there are a lot of really good webmasters here that have a serious issue with anything not in thier little box. It doesn't stop them from doing very well with the sites and genre they do promote. If you hire them and they bash a few gays or don't agree with some fetish or trend look at their performance on what they are promoting and make an informed decision from there.

Not everyone likes pissing vids or gay sex. thats why we call them niches

right but why should I (doing a general 'I' here) promote a program that might being paying someone to insult the community I am promoting?

it has been said that no publicity is bad publicity.

I think it's possible to check profile of the webmaster and check what he usually posts to know lots about him before you buy his sig.

Sarah... I'd make sure WebInc checks out the fool that goes by the nick "Evil Jawa" he has webinc in his sig and posted mad shit like snorting coke with his daughter and intentionally walking in on his nude daughter.

If you talk about quality control I'd check him out, even if he's doing it for free I'd slap him around and tell him to promote someone else :2 cents:

we didn't know he had our button in his sig and when myself and Todd saw it we both talked to each other and he was asked to take it out. I think Eric removed it for us. There were a series of threads of us following him around telling him to remove it.

I haven't seen him put it back but if he has please tell me.

You bring up a good point here. I've wondered that myself and YES it is because of things I've seem from lame fucks running their mouth about this or that just talking worthless bullshit completely out of their ass. Whether they are rich or poor I still don't want assholes flying my sig. and edit: as you can see I'm tense on this subject.

Well, firstly Webinc doesn't have affiiliates - though I am sure you are refering to Wishing.com. However, given the nature of his comments about Jewish people, etc I am sure action would have been taken. I know I would have said something to my boss.

just want to point out my response to that..it is gone and we went to efforts to get it removed.

After reading this thread, I find it abundantly clear that regardless of people buying signature space caring or not, posters clearly do not care what they write.
