A Traitor Is About To Be Honored
A TRAITOR IS ABOUT TO BE HONORED KEEP THIS MOVING ACROSS AMERICA
She really was a traitor. This is for all the kids born in the 70's who do not remember, and didn't have to bear the burden that our fathers, mothers and older brothers and sisters had to bear. Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the "100 Women of the Century." Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country, but specific men who served and sacrificed during Vietnam. The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot. The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat. In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison the "Hanoi Hilton." Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was ordered to describe for a visiting American "Peace Activist" the "lenient and humane treatment" he'd received. He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was dragged away. During the subsequent beating, he fell forward on to the camp Commandant's feet, which sent that officer berserk. In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from double vision (which permanently ended his flying career) from the Commandant's frenzied application of a wooden baton. From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E's). He spent 6 years in the "Hanoi Hilton"... the first three of which his family only knew he was "missing in action". His wife lived on faith that he was still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and clothed routine in preparation for a "peace delegation" visit. They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they were alive and still survived. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his Social Security Number on it, in the palm of his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man's hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?" Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper. She took them all without missing a beat. At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him all the little pieces of paper. Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Colonel Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know of her actions that day. I was a civilian economic development advisor in Vietnam, and was captured by the North Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one year in a cage in Cambodia; and one year in a "black box" in Hanoi. My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a nurse in a leprosarium in Ban me Thuot, South Vietnam, whom I buried in the jungle near the Cambodian border. At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs. (My normal weight is 170 lbs.) We were Jane Fonda's "war criminals." When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi, I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet with her. I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received... and how different it was from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as "humane and lenient." Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched with a large steel weights placed on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane. I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda soon after I was released. I asked her if she would be willing to debate me on TV. She never did answer me. These first-hand experiences do not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of "100 Years of Great Women." Lest we forget..." 100 Years of Great Women" should never include a traitor whose hands are covered with the blood of so many patriots. There are few things I have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in blatant treason, is one of them. Please take the time to forward to as many people as you possibly can. It will eventually end up on her computer and she needs to know that we will never forget. RONALD D. SAMPSON, CMSgt, USAF 716 Maintenance Squadron, Chief of Maintenance DSN: 875-6431 COMM: 883-6343 PLEASE HELP BY SENDING THIS TO EVERYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK. IF ENOUGH PEOPLE SEE THIS MAYBE HER STATUS WILL CHANGE |

He who supports a corrupt govt is a traitor, so I guess that make you the traitor.

Why can't you idiots see that supporting the troops who were betrayed by Hanoi Jane does NOT equal allegiance to the current administration? Idiots.

Don't even bother with the people on this board. 65% of the people here would of did the same thing. Hell I bet they would of taken the Commandants AK-47 and shot the men themselves. |
A few years back, while visiting her cattle rancher uncle in Billings, MT., a woman relayed a story about how they had occasion to go to dinner at a restaurant that does not take reservations. The wait was about 45 minutes.
Lots of other rancher types and their spouses were already waiting. In comes Ted Turner and Jane Fonda. They want a table. The hostess says they'll have to wait about 45 minutes. Jane Fonda asks the hostess if she knows who she is. "Yes, but you'll still have to wait 45 minutes" Then Jane says, "Is the manager in?" The manager comes out, "May I help you?" Do you know who I am?" ask both Jane and Ted. "Yes, but these folks have all been waiting already and I can't put you in ahead of them" Then Ted asks to speak to the owner. The owner comes out. Jane again asks, "Do you know who I am?" The owner says, "Yes, I do. Do you know who I am? I am the owner of this restaurant and a Vietnam Veteran. Not only will you not get a table ahead of all of my friends and neighbors here, but you also will not be eating in my restaurant tonight or any other night. Good bye." Only in America, what a great country! This is a true story and the name of the steak house is : Sir Scott's Oasis Steakhouse 204 W Main MANHATTAN, MT 59741 (406) 284-6929 If you ever get there, give this fella a sharp salute, buy a steak and tip the waitress! |

Let's not forget the time. Vietnam was an occupied clony of France, the North wanted freedom, the South had a corrupt goverment that was taking all the money it could get. The Frech were losing big time and wanted out, so in stepped the US. For what? To stop a bankrupt, corrupt and nothing country they spent billions on arms, killed and maimed 1000 and generally destroyed the country and earned the worlds hate for it. What exactly was that war for? Was it to stop the spread of communism, well the countries around were Cambodia, look what happened there. Thailand was not going over to Communism, below Vietnam the countries are devout Muslims, so not much chance of Communism spreading. Even less if the US had spent 10% of the money they did in destroying the country in building it. But then that would of meant no money for the arms industry. I grieve for the soldiers who fought in Vietnam, butr I blame the politicians and business that sent them there. Not the woman who tried to stop the madness. |

Soldiers dont decide to go to war, they signed the papers and are called upon. Most dont agree with the politics behind it, but what choice do they have. So fuck you to all you haters. :321GFY |

I'm not forgiving Fonda, if she did what was alledged, what I'm saying was the real criminals were the fools at the top who thought it could be won and that they had a right to go and kill millions for no real reason.

http://www.snopes.com/movies/actors/fonda.asp I personally don't give two shits about Jane Fonda or what she did or didn't do. I don't like her. I don't care about her. What I AM sick of is constantly reading crap that just isn't true, and having friends and family members believing everything they read because someone sent them an email. |

There's so many bogus stories floating around lately and it does suck - so many friends forward these things to me and they BELIEVE every word. I would think webmasters would be a little more saavy then to continue the online evolution of this bullshit. |
Jane is a fucking ignorant hahahaha, and should have been left there fot the animals.
The really sad thing about all the toruble in Vietnam is how long ago it started. And it started long before the French showed up. |
Donovan have you enlisted in the military?

The French were figthing to hold on to South Vietnam. They asked the U.S. for help plenty of times before they were massacred at Dien Bien Fu. That was the last of the French. Then the U.S. moved in. There is plenty of speculation as to why the U.S. refused to help the French in the first place hold on to their colony, but the fact is we refused to help them when they were suffering bitter defeats, and getting their arses handed to them. When one of their lost stronghold's were overrun, then the French left. :error |

And about that snopes story:
I have read this. One thing you should know is that snopes is not always entirely accurate. Many times they are, but there are times when they're entirely incorrect. In this case, the author's language shows he/she has a clear bias, which leads me to question his/her "research". Even with that bias, "Hanoi Jane" is not a hero. How many of you actually believe POWs weren't mistreated, as she said? How many of you believe they came home "looking like football players"? That, my friends, is a bunch of BULLSHIT. Take a look at the references at the bottom of that snopes page. Also do a little research on the authors. You'll notice the authors and all the references are "left" on the political spectrum. There will always be two sides of this story. "Hanoi Jane" has never sued the author of this article as far as I can find. Don't you think she would on charges as serious as this? God knows she has the money to do it. |
LOL Donnie got owned.

Read post #31. I've already read that article before posting this. I chose to post it anyway because it reaks of bias and inaccuracy. It was written by two left-leaning Jane Fonda sympathizers. |
