I used to have friendly feelings for Alien, the way you do for a cute puppy, when he was clueless and knew it. Now he's clueless and cocksure he knows every damn thing there is to know about this biz and he's quick to let us know that he's one of the very very sharpest operators out there. This despite the fact that he's living hand to mouth just like he always has. The thread where he got publically fired for general dumbassedness on the board has to be a classic, but I can't find it.

Alien, the bottom line is you're a slightly sub mid-level designer with some serious ego problems. Your work is ok with heavy supervision at every step. This thing where you say 'ya' instead of 'you' all the time isn't cute, it's fucking irritating. You're not a superstar, your ideas aren't anything special, you haven't made any money, you haven't made any impact other than to piss some people off on GFY, and believe me notoriety on GFY is fun but it isn't a moneymaker unless your name is Juicy or Aaron, and both of them make their real money in other ways.

You need to step back, look at your situation and evaluate what you have to offer other webmasters. Get in with a good company, shut the fuck up and try to listen to people who've made some money in this game. Grow up. And learn to say 'YOU' when it's appropriate.
