I think it's due to Tax Day!

I'm down quite a bit yesterday and today myself, both traffic and sales-wise

Will you have to tell people you're down when everyone else is, otherwise they may think you're bullshitting.

Sales dropped Saturaday, picked up Sunday level Monday and crap since then.

you guys need to relaxe if you try analyze your stats from day to day you are going to go insaine. No one can have their stats go up everyday. it's impossible. some days will be more some will be less, it;s a fact. blamming it on the economy, the weather, the day of the year, the holiday, etc... is an excuse.

Don't feed yourself excuses it leads to lack of productivity.

The fact is that there is just as many people having a good week at any given time as their are people having a bad week. If i had a :2 cents: for all the times I try to educate people on this.

You are 100% more in control of your stats then any tax day shit. If your off then you are off today. Instead of writing it off as tax day try to work harder, or really try to find the REAL problem if you are really down.

last 2-3 weeks sales are down 10 to 12% over here

I"m way down today compared to the past 2 days. Tomorrow will be better I'm sure.

last 2 days are horrible for me too and overall paid traffic results in big time losss duh

Mine are on the low side as well.

Yesterday one of my best days today sad :( very very sad :(

april sucks for sales (tax time) so im takin the month off to work on some other things (mainstream sites, more blogs, making templates, etc etc)

Come the first week of May, i'm pushing all new sites, buying a shit load of traffic and flooding the SE's with my shit lol :thumbsup

I'm getting twice the usual amount actually, shaping up to be a very nice Friday.

Sales suck for me as well.

hmm, traffic was up for me during the week.. and drops late nite. but good thing for uk traffic. they are only 5 hrs ahead :D

My sales dropped the day the Pope died and except for sunday has never picked up.This is across all my major sponsors.
traffic has stayed the same all up.
Either people aren't buying or epoch is scrubbing pretty hard for some reason is my guess.

Mate , I read your post but dismissed as coming from an arrogant flash in the pan who has had a bit of success and thinks he knows it all and is qualified to preach.
These aren't your 3 year old kids you are talking too but experienced webmasters who are well aware of the normal fluctuations of daily sales.

flash in the pan, while i don't have 50K post here i think you are making some wrong assumptions here. I have been in this industry for over 6 years and have been doing really really well for well over 4 years...

There are no "normal fluctuations" in sales because of bullshit like taxes.

Doesn't matter how i talk to people, some people don't want to listen regardless.


what was wrong with that post ? Would you prefer me say, "awh it will be ok, maybe we will get a lot of rain next week and our sales will pick back up" .

I love competitors convinced of their success. They are the easiest prey.
