Dogs are social creatures. If you want to keep a dog locked in the yard, and not let it in the house, don't bother getting a dog.

My lab LOVED to sleep on my end table! I was afraid to let her do it for too long because I new how big she would get. Hell, if I let her up there now she'd crush the thing, LOL.

We had them at our old house, went over to the shed one night and heard this noise in the air and I looked up and the thing was gliding down to the nearest tree, was so cute. I think its a bit sad when these animals end up all over the world, away from their natural habitat (
