Paulzy 04-02-2005 10:58 PM

I dont think so.

I work at home, make well into 6 figures a year, and I fill up my truck about once every six weeks. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to afford to keep gas in it even if the price jumps 10x.

groark 04-02-2005 11:06 PM

Time for you ignorants to buy fuel saving cars.

Thats about what it costs to fill the Expedition. Pretty soon I'll be paying 10 cents a mile in gas but when you think about that isn't too bad. Since I work from home I only drive about 100 miles per week. No biggie life goes on.

Sosa 04-02-2005 11:10 PM

yep, went up about .15 cents this past week here.

Same here, a tank of gas lasts me 6 weeks because I just dont drive the truck very much. If I need to go somewhere with friends or meet someone for lunch, I'll take one of my bikes... and they get over 40 miles per gallon.

Funky Bastard 04-02-2005 11:14 PM

At what price would you all stop buying gas?

eMonk 04-02-2005 11:14 PM

think of it this way...

it's still the cheapest liquid we need in our daily lives...

coffee $0.80 litre...

water $1.80 litre...

soda $0.80 litre...

etc..

think about it... :)

ipc 04-03-2005 02:23 AM

Thats why people in europe buy cars with diesel's engine. only 4-6 litres / 100km
and 1 litre costs about 0,90 euro :)

In europe its around 2 canadian dollar a liter.

justsexxx 04-03-2005 04:59 AM

BLABLABLA. We pay here 1.25 EURO= 1.61 USD per LITER. so 6 USD per gallon.

And yes we also have to pay roadtax and all other crap. This is not even in our fuel prices.

So stop complaining :)

Andre

Paulzy 04-03-2005 10:38 AM

All you guys in EU, can always move :2 cents:
