At this point he is unable to do anything for himself...that is when people who care about him and step in and just prevent him from eating such massive amounts of food daily. He said the hospital estimates he consumes 20,000 calories daily....that is a whole lot of food

20,000 calories is like 4-8 pounds of body fat per day (2500 - 3000 calories make a pound, give or take). This guy could easily put on another 200 - 300 pounds a year if he keeps up at that rate.
